    Watching it.

Canada vs. Argentina is 0-0 at halftime.

So far, both teams "Level" is amateurish and laughable.

Canada could have scored .. people don't realize just how good Messi was at the world cup he won that thing on his own. this is not a great Argentina by any means whatsoever.

Canada has some athletes but little in the way of technique. defending is poor individually but this new coach has at least set them up to press and sat compact where the last one left them exposed at the back and just played Davies as a forward which was foolish.

Buchanan at Inter on the right and Davies on the left helps immensely. The portuguese lad is decent on the ball in the middle as well.

I have never been a fan of 0-0 games.

It’s only he first half but neither team is convincing as of yet.

The Canadian GK made a good save though...

Messi is the goat but fifa is favoring him. Just look at the bracket. Argentina avoiding all of the good teams until final.
I have no issue as Messi is the God and should be respected and protected at all times.

I wouldn't want him to. Also doubtful. His numbers would be Scamacca-like. But I'd take him as a sub, for sure.

    Heck no.

Also Retegui seems like a " lightweight " don't like him.

So far, he's overrated and I'm not convinced.

I'm sure there are better Oriundi around.

Scamacca more skilled but at least Retegui ran at the Spanish defenders which caused some turn overs that we were missing before that.

Italy should use scamacca height as advantage.

That's not a Spalletti tactic. Scamacca should just turn and shoot in the box, like Retegui does. That's my detailed analysis.

    Turkey are so LOL.

80M to chose from, some players born and raised in Germany to chose from, and they continually underperform.

Another Yellow Card for SIMULATION to Leao. His 2nd in as many matches. Nice distinction to have. This has to be a first.

IMO a blessing in disguise as he will be ready for R16.

    The diving lion.

I never did expect Italy to win this time but it's a shame because the right team could have.

Spain, Germany, Portugal have shown the best football. France and The Netherlands as well.

Spain vs Germany surely in the QF so one of them is eliminated. Portugal, anybody see Ronaldo spazzing out for not receiving a pass just seconds before Turkey decided to score for them? He will be their undoing. France, great team, but how will Mbappé play with a mask?

I see the Oranje as potential winners.

Germany and Spain are in a class above. Portugal right behind. The French like the English are too reliant on the strength of their individuals. Both have a poor team game. You can forgive the French because they are loaded, but with the English it’s going to bite them in ass. I see Belgium, Holland and Denmark as the dark horses rn
