    Thanks a bunch!

How about Christian Eriksen scoring a goal for Denmark after suffering a cardiac arrest 3 years ago?

    Good for him!

The English have anointed Jude Bellingham one of the greatest #10s in the history of the game. Up there with Maradona, Zidane and Pelé.

Never disliked the English team like many have. I have cheered for them in individual matches more than once over the years. Ditto Germany, The Netherlands, France.

Hes a less technicall Pogba with much much higher football IQ and the mentality of Ronaldo so he has a high ceiling. His technique is good for a big man but notbkng extraordinary. Ancelotti played him as a striker for Real so his 18 goals are misleading. But dont get me wrong he is a superb player.

D David Brekalo Slovenia Orlando City

M Bartosz Sliszc Poland Atlanta United

GK Henrich Ravas Slovakia New England Revolution

MF Saba Lobzhanidze Georgia Atlanta United

M Bartosz Sliszc Poland Atlanta United

Bellingham is great. Nothing to say about the player. It’s the English fans who are unbearable.

Quite the amazing stat, I thank you for it. A tear. Also amazing at the high quality teams that they play for -- Slovakia, Slovenia, Georgia, Poland. Italy must strive to be on their level.

No but seriously. Nobody gives a flying ******** about MLS. Every MLS fan has another team they support first. Cause I'm sure the serious football pundits in Italia are bemoaning Italy's lack of NT players on San Jose Quakes or Real Salt Lake.

I'd rather discuss the quality of MLS than hear from the random England and Portugal fans about their takes on Italy.

Aside from Bellingham's goal, watching England yesterday, I fell asleep.

    They are so overrated!

All they know how to do is lob long balls, and create crosses.

To be fair, another poster here and I posted a comment or two on their boards -- respectfully of course.

I have posted on the USA side (mainly McKennie and Weah board), Argentina, Colombia a few times.

Prodigal mind wrote nothing wrong, IMO.

Occasional posts on Napoli and Roma boards as well even if they are not my team. Show respect and you usually get it back.

Not sure what was going on between Bellingham and Filip Kostic in that exchange.

Don't get me wrong, I think Bellingham is a great forward but the English like to brag and they haven't won anything in 58 years.

    About Bellingham...

Comments by Southgate saying how they are taking advantage of how Madrid used him and they would be foolish not to due the same.

Gave me flashbacks to when Kaka arrived at Milan and they re-invented Pirlo into a new role (regista arritrata). A role he would go on to play also at the NT.

This is on Carletto. Kudos to the player to leaving home at 16 for Germany. Hard work paying off.

It was actually Carlo Mazzone at Brescia who transitioned Pirlo into a new role regista arritrata role.

@AGomes, @falvo: Pirlo moved to a deeper position because he was playing with Baggio at Inter. Is this a more subtle change of role you're referring to, like a 6 that's playing one way versus a 6 that's playing another?

I think that is when they started changing tactics and roles.

These are the traditional roles, corresponding with their numbers.

    Numero 1 portiere
    Numero 2 Torno subito
    Numero 3 terzino sinistro
    Numero 4 difensore
    Numero 5 difensore
    Numero 6 Centrocampista Difensivo
    Numero 7 ala
    Numero 8 centrocampista centrale
    Numero 9 aggressore
    Numero 10 centrocampista attaccante
    Numero 11 ala

No, I'm not asking for a basic explanation of positions. I'm asking if you're saying that Pirlo was playing a significantly different role behind Kaka than he was was behind Baggio in 1998? It seems like Pirlo had already moved from an attacking position to a deep playmaking position at Inter.
