Identical to me, I think we joined the queue too early, never know though, when we finally get on we might have more luck than the people who got on quicker.
I have been in the portal about 30 mins and the different cats all show but impossible to cart. Must have attempted over 200 times.
I think the secret is to enter the queue as close to 12.58 as possible. I managed to get onto the site at ~1.15 but couldnt cart anything despite it showing lots of availability. Very frustrating but to be honest I didnt expect it to be anyything else.
Right on the nose mate. we were all lined up, and got kicked out at 12:59, and he managed to hold his place with a VPN blocker.
Honestly I think the earlier you went the worse it got. I had my line up to the end on my phone and it just crashed, same time as my 3 laptops all went. I guess there’s a “perfect” time to get in, but god knows what time that is.
I'm back in now. The main page doesn't even display the game to select, but the direct link is sporadically showing tickets. Presumably these are only for people who have some form of access code...
Who on earth are these tickets constantly popping up across all cats on the direct link for? The 1,000 Italians travelling are all FF, England Supporters Club are no longer able to purchase and I thought the Italian ex-pats have already sold out their allocation? There’s plenty of tickets left but god knows who they’re for…
Started queuing at 1:05 and only just got in, can see all cats through direct link but they arent cartable.
Yep I’ve just got in as well. I’m going to try and stay logged in for as long as possible in the hope that maybe some of these tickets on the direct link get fed through to general sale
If you search "uefa portal" on Twitter, there are a few tweets (a very small number, but still some!) claiming they have managed to get tickets in the last half hour or so. Obviously far outweighed by those who are having similar problems to us.
Has anyone actually managed to cart a ticket using the direct link, that they weren't offered in the ordinary way?
No. My impression is you can only cart tickets if you click on the match through the portal (if you're lucky enough for it to appear, which it hasn't done for me for a couple of hours).
Yep, I reckon that's that now. Well done to anyone who got tickets - enjoy it! I haven't traded with anyone this time but, as for Euro 2016, this forum has been a great source of info and help with the portal. Roll on Germany 2024...
Ah maybe you missed the early part of the conversation, it was a special password Italians were given for allocated tickets for the Italian section. Seriously doubt they'd put that down as their password
Hope there will be a Nations Cup ticket forum soon, though I doubt tickets will be hard to get hold of. Semis and Final are in early October, Turin and Milan.
One of my friend's got their ticket to the Italian section (2nd hand, obviously) and I cannot tell him that he can come with his england shirt and can move pretty easily from there as the lower tier is open to move and there should be 25-30000 empty seats. Any suggestions what to tell him? He is actually quite devestated.
