Please don't argue with "common sense" - we cannot expect this from UEFA, who - like any other sports federations - does not act for the good of the game or the fans ;-).
You argued with me, I replied and I explained you. When I wrote "common sense" I was thinking at you, not UEFA. Should be a matter of common sense (for you) to accept that Budapest is a better option for a QF than Munchen, Rome or Baku. P.S. you are german, I know ...
Actually, I never said anything about *not* moving the games to Budapest and I didn't argue for Munich or Rome either. Where did you get that from? The only thing I was pointing out is that international games should, ideally, *not* be held at a location where almost all international fans are banned from.
I downloaded the tickets I picked up yesterday for England Germany just now. They are in Block 123 , savage altogether, thats right on half way, about half way back. I thought they'd be kept back for the prawn sandwich brigade. Brother in law will be well chuffed
Nonsense. You'll be fine - we've moved on from the 80s. Scotland had 3000 tickets, no segregation, no problem.
Has anyone else had a problem with disappearing tickets? I had 4 tickets for the semi final, I had the email to let me know that I was successful in the may ballot and kept them. I downloaded the app and it is saying that there are no tickets associated with the email address, even though it is the email address that I have always used. As far as I can see, there is no helpline or contact details.
I was sat right next to Scotland (3000), alongside Croatia (a few hundred) and behind the Czechs (a coach load...not taking the piss but that's all that could get to UK) supporters. No problem for anyone. No segregation. Just glad to watch a game.
As I said, I had the same experience, everyone got along fine, and I'm sure that would be the case for the majority of opposition fans - but I don't blame people for having one or two reservations about celebrating their team scoring against England at Wembley surrounded by England fans, given that it only takes one pissed up idiot to do something daft, or at least to make your afternoon not very pleasant.
That is true and works for every away game! Huge numbers of police were out last week...some had nothing better to do than take photos of me by the Bobby Moore statue...
They won’t appear on the app till you get an email to say tickets are ready to download. Don’t worry m8.
Any advice for app saying already logged on elsewhere anyone? Contacted uefa, and tried reinstall, nothing works yet
There are 2 different scenarios. Should both Italy and Germany win their round of 16, Italy would be playing his QF in Munich and Germany would be playing his QF in Rome. They would be played on 2 and 3 july, with EU digital green certificate just started. I am sure that Draghi and Merkel already have a mutual agreement to increase capacity if that is the case. Not to mention the pressure they would start to put on UEFA to move the finals, backed by Macron and WHO. Should Italy or Germany (or both) lose his round of 16, the country would suddenly lose interest in the competition and any increase of the capacity would be considered a useless risk.
Is there a specific time that we can expect general sale England tickets loaded onto the portal (eg has there been a recent trend where tickets have appeared on the site at the same certain time each day)?
The finals are not going to be moved. UEFA themselves confirmed Wembley at 60,000 capacity would host them three days ago. Draghi, Macron and Merkel are not going to waste their time on this, and WHO has got nothing to do with it. Please stop spreading conspiracy theories!
They only allocated tickets for the L16 yesterday. Will probably be a week+ before the semi final tickets are allocated. This is the new normal...
that was for the second l16 on tuesday. so 5 days before. This l16 is unusual as they didnt sell any tickets until wednesday (6 days before), but i cant see why the semi finals would happen any quicker. As the seats allocated depend on capacity i guess they have to leave it as late as possible. e.g. for the semi finals if they spread out the 15000 tickets already sold then they would find it hard to allocate the remainder when they the sell the next 45000.
When I said it's better to move the QF from Munchen or Rome to other venues (for a higher capacity), you argued like this: "The number of allowed spectators isn't the issue, the issue is that international fans are (currently) excluded from games in the UK. So an increase of spectators (like in Wembley) is pointless if not international fans are allowed to enter the country." I remember you that in Munchen and Rome (like in Budapest, Bucharest or Copenhagen) the international fans are allowed. So, the number of spectators in those venues is a huge issue ! P.S. I recommend you to read again the entire conversation.
