Euro 2020 - Tickets Thread

Seems weird that not all UEFA ticket portal accounts have been updated yet.

 

Like @hearts123 I got Match 44 as well. I've from Boston, so it's an easy flight to DUB. I got 4, Cat 3 tickets. Q: I don't need to provide passport/info on the other three ticket holders when I pay, do I?

 

Got both semifinals cat2 (most likely Cat3 seats).

No group games at all cat1-2, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Rome or Munich. Nada!

No final even if we applied Cat1. Guess it's up to F5 then [emoji23]

 

Haven't been here since the 2006 World Cup ticket saga.

This time round...4 applications for last 16 in London, QF in Munich, semis and final.

1 app successful for both semis.
1 app successful for 1 semi

 

Told you so, got skunked as in fuk all

 

Got 4 of the 7 matches I wanted, basically all except the semis and final! All cat 2! I’ll probably also have a pair of cat 1 tickets for sale for match 44, face value obviously.

 

I applied for 10 Games in Cat. 3 but got absolutely nothing... that‘s really frusttrating! Do I still have any chance for Tickets?? Thanks for your help

 

Successful for two group stage matches each in Amsterdam & Bilbao, then Round of 16 in Budapest and Dublin. All CAT2 apart from a costly upgrade to a Bilbao group match to CAT1 *ouch* and Dublin CAT1.

My girlfriend managed to get some Fans First for semifinal #50 (lady luck - she's a keeper).

Unsuccessful for Copenhagen & London group stage, Rome & Munich quarterfinals. Will be chasing those two quarterfinals and the final!

applied to all 3 St Petersburg group stage games and was successful! All CAT 2!

edit: question, if you purchase the tickets now can you still decide to resell them later on the portal? I remember this was possible for the world cup

 

Haven't had that myself, fans first tickets were only available for the semis and final, weren't they?

Someone in my office has got a set of four Wembley tickets at 50 euros apiece, which is cat 3. I don't think I've seen anyone with those on here yet.

 

Yup my friend got that too as part of their rejection email.

 

I went 5 for 10.
Missed Copenhagen (Match days 2, 3, and R of 16), London (Match day 1) and Dublin (R of 16)

Very grateful that I got all Dublin group stage matches, Glasgow match day 3 and Amsterdam R of 16.

I may have to get some F5 tips from Forza so I can grab a Copenhagen match during FCFS.

 

Having been very lucky and got all I wanted first time for Russia and Brazil I have forgotten how deflating it was to get bugger all as this time.

 

Plenty of chances to get tickets. This is only the first round.

As long as you're prepared to invest some time in front of your computer in the coming months, you'll be able to get something.

 

I certainly agree with all that though it was important to get something first off and generally people don't know who they see but this time there are many 'home' games with people almost knowing who they will see which makes it more difficult..

I think the biggest surprise is how many people will have paid 595 euros for SF cat 1. I thought this was really steep and was most confident about getting them..

 

I take it all unsuccessful applicants are getting these as we have had 6 so far.

 

I received the email. I take it we won’t be hearing anything until atleast the 16th? Or are you able to auto reject tickets you don’t want now?

I got 4x final cat 2
8 x semi cat 1

and yes now I am broke

total its 7000 euro with some other games

 

I doubt your Swiss namesake will have got himself that many.

 

Assuming the FCFS system comes into play, that is generally where the gold is at. Many people including myself have had major success in the past.

I wont be attending next years tournament and have already offloaded my semi final to @Stuckin1au

My recommendation is to pay close attention to this forum when FCFS is near, help each other out with tickets as at the end of the day, its the community that will win and be better for it. Build a network and work together to get the tickets you require and use Whatsapp/Discord etc and form a tight group that you can trust.

Don't fret if you were unsuccessful in the random draw. Alot had multiple applications and hit nothing.

 

I sent one application although I got hoodwinked into believing the demand ratings that UEFA created. At least I ended up with 2xCat 1 for all three Wembley group games and 2xCat 1 for both semis. Only missed out on 2xCat1 final tickets. Happy to take them (and hoping to save a few quid on the £/€ exchange rate but not looking good there). Can always try to resell next year depending on the fixtures.

 

In no way sour grapes but it is odd how these ballots work as you got five games of the same category that I did not. Surely there has to be some law of averages. Reassuring to know the SF were not impossible as a good number seem to have got them on here.
