Me neither, last game was Georgia away. (user name's deceptive, just happened to be living in Wales when I picked it)
I cant believe st petersburg is more demanded than Roma and Copenhagen more requested than Amersterdam or Roma !
Italy's price for 3 home games in the group stage is other countries fans having to pay to get there for one game only from Baku.
That’s because Rome and Amsterdam are expensive cities for accommodation. I’m only staying in Rome for 2 nights at 150 a night at a 3 star hotel. Amsterdam is 250 a night at a 3 star. Air bnb a single room with shared bathroom is is more than 100. This is Canadian dollars
Yes and Copenhagen having the smallest stadium, not that many seats to go around. Both venues quite close for the Finnish supporters.
Copenhagen is more expensive than Rome. Seems like many are underestimating us Finns and also Danes. I was 0/45 for Finland's games. Got a ticket from a friend to Russia game.
Welsh tweet re ticket breakdown. Wow that Wales figure in Baku is impressive but very surprised how poor the Swiss support is being an affluent country which now has a big following. Maybe they are all just going to their game with Turkey instead as it is the last game in the group.
The Swiss don't travel. Doubt there will be many at either game in Baku. The Welsh fans living in England are not counted in that stat either.
They have screamed about applications and then briefed each host nation's journalists so that they can do the secondary spin. Nothing on the UEFA media releases page about tickets sold for each stadium. And that stupid comparison to 2016 when you couldn't put in a speculative application or you got automatically charged. Have heard more honest hawkers selling 'genuine' Rolex watches in a market..
I am not sure that is so true now. I saw Switzerland v Chile in Port Elizabeth and there must have been 5,000 or more there.
I agree this rubbish about what a great idea to change the format was is just embarrassing. I had know I idea how much I must have secretly admired FIFA before I saw UEFA in action.
I actually saw their other 2 games but don't recall big crowds. Outnumbered the Spanish all right. I was more thinking of Euro2016 when they were greatly out-numbered by Albanian fans. Even a Saturday game in St-Etienne (easily accessible from Geneva) saw a disappointing Swiss crowd. They have a decent side as well so maybe their fans will wait for the knockout rounds.
What do you all think the priority will be like for sending out the emails? I got partial tickets, all baku like most people, but I didn't pay because I already got tickets through that direct link with the code. Do you think they will punish those of us who didn't pay this round in terms of priority for the FCFS links?
