Tiny and Helpless was Germany at the World Cup. Portugal is walking around with 2 European titles. Actually, I can't call Germany helpless because FIFA and UEFA fight tooth and nail to protect the Germans. The latest is un-relegating Germany from the Nations League lol what a farce. Poor things couldn't handle reality so they cried to mommy to change the rules...again.
It is really offensive to call Portugal Tiny and helpless. Over 500 million people speak the language and it had a important influence on the world. Unlike other European nations, we aren’t racist and welcome other people. Chinese Indian and black women all Love me I’ve been with many of them. I am Going to report this guy for racism.
Again, that blatantly shows that UEFA cannot be trusted. They are doing it right infront of our eyes. Making up their own rules as they go. People think they wouldn't rig a draw? lol As for Germany, we're going to have to do what Mexico did last year but this time on German soil.
And they say Germans dont get irony lmao. Anyways, you need to do something about your indulging in conspiracy theories. Just accept that UEFA were not the brightest lamps in the lamp shop by upgrading to 24 teams when in the 2nd version they didnt find one who could host it alone. What`s next? Germany must have sent the best personnel St. Pauli can offer and ********ed its way through the UEFA committee so that they not only have 3 games in 2020 but also get to host all of 2024? Outrageous!
Who celebrates the 60th anniversary of something like this? As always whatever we expect will be totally turned upside down.
Technically he’s not being a racist. You can say he’s being a bigot. I really don’t give a ******** what he said, and you shouldn’t either.
I actually think the site choices have more to do with trying to avoid countries with right-ward/nationalist movements as much as possible. But they are boring/uncreative nonetheless.
The draw was rigged. Hopefully it backfires at their ********ing faces when Portugal wins the European Championship again.
Turkey were willing and capable to host it alone. This euro is for England to profit not sure what you are going on about we are talking about daddy UEFA bailing you out of relegation. That's not conspiracy thats plain as day fact.
Germany is also hosting the tournament I. 2024. Will Eder still be good? We might need him for the final that year. With the 24 team format, it will be hard for smaller countries like Portugal to host it alone in the future. It was easier with 16 teams.
https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/euro-2020-qualifying-official-thread.2090643/page-46 They seem mad we won the euro and nations league
Nations league will be considered superior to an euro cup one day. It’s in a league format over the course of a year or more and based on seedings based on actual rankings not politics. It’s less prone to outlier results. Portugal’s win at the nations league should not be underestimated.
that guy is a bell end big time, he has never liked anything Portuguese. he must be butt hurt, must of caught his mum wife and sister in bed with a big Portuguese chouriço
If the Euro started next month, this would be my XI. ——————-Patricio——————- Pereira——-Dias—-Pepe——Guerrero —————Neves—Sanches———- ——————-Bernardo————- Camacho———CR7——Felix
Funny how Sanches has put himself back into the fold. Uhm, if youre going to use the 2 DM's, i would rather use William/Danilo over Neves, assuming William is healthy and in form come the Euro. I love the idea as do most of us of Bernardo in the middle.. unfortunately.. it is not something we have really gotten to see under Santos. I dont expect that to change. I could see your line up in terms of players being true for 9 of the 11 selections. I also question the formation and could see Santos rolling with the 4-3-3 or 4-4-2
Yes but William has been injured so I’m not sure what his form will be like heading into the tournament. Of course, when he is on form he is a first choice starter for that position. I am a not sure if you have any coaching experience? But I do. This would be a good lineup. Of course, it’s not my decision, but it’s up to Santos. A 4-4-2 is probably likely with Bernardo on the wing.
No word yet on our opponents for the 2 March Friendlies, although I read somewhere that in March there is possibility of Portugal playing a friendly mini tournament with Croacia, Belgium and Switzerland, although we can only play 2 matches, so I believe we may Croacia and Belgium, rather than Switzerland, as Belgium as and Croacia are both outfitted bi Nike as are we, and those matchups are likely to be used for unveiling of our Home and away kits, possibly our home kit against Croatia and our away kit against Belgium
Danilo has been injured a lot, William Carvalho is only coming back now. Neves might be our best D-mid heading into the Euros. But is he good enough defensively to start without Danilo or William beside him?
The answer is NO. I have always thought and still think Neves is not a true DM, and is over rated at his position because of it.
William Carvalho is by far Portugal’s best defensive mid, but I am concerned he will be unfit after being off injured for so long. You have to watch a full game of him and monitor his off the ball positioning to really admire his true ability.
I’ve heard of that, but my contacts in Portugal tell me that they may consider friendlies against Greece and Cape Verde.
That is good news because William is integral to Portugal’s setup. His off the ball positioning and intelligence is world class. Those who do not understand anything about football are typically the detractors who point to his lack of pace as if football was a 100m sprint.
Friendlies in March against Belgium and Croatia have been confirmed. I would like to see Sergio Oliveria (Fc Porto) get a look. I have been impressed with him of late . Thoughts ?
