Pre-match: (EURO 2016 - Semi Final!) Germany vs France 7.7.2016 [R]

The only country I've seen occasionally play without the star on the jersey is England.

 

..and the Italians have it inside the logo, I only just noticed

 

I was in the aeroplane when the match was being played...after landing I came to know we lost...this hurts...in 2012 semifinal also I couldn't watch the match and only after it ended I checked the score and we were on the losing side....
it's been 30 hours now the match has been played and I am still down....this was a huge opportunity for us despite injuries...I haven't seen the highlights and do not care either...may be after 6 months when I have recovered I will watch it....
this generation clearly deserves 2 major trophies otherwise it will be a disservice to their talent and capabilities...looks like world cup 2018 is probably the last chance as in euro 2020 cream of this generation Muller, Kroos, Ozil, Boateng, Hummels, Howedes, Gundogan, Reus will be in their 30s...probably they will never have the Euro cup..this was certainly a lost opportunity...the last time I was demoralized like this was after the Chelsea defeat in 2012...

I've never seen England kits without the star since kits started wearing them. Same goes for the Argies, Uruguay (four stars) and France and Spain on the actual day they won it - they changed into the new kits...lol..

 

I agree. A single World Cup is not enough if we want to consider this a Golden Generation.

Must be the famous 2 world wars and a world cup. If you are stuck at 1, you have to start counting something else.
