question: when is sagnol coming back?

and when he comes back, will he still be first choice at rb?

    sorry for being off topic...

He's supposed to be back before the end of this month, with Bayern. And yes, I think he's still the first choice at RWB for France, until he shows he's dropped in quality significantly.

I don't see why not, how many RBs in the world are better than him? It's unfortunate that he's been injured for the season but he is making a good recovery. He already played a game with the reserves at Bayern and is coming along well.

Willy should be good again in January the latest. He'll be good to go by the time football starts again next year.

    thanks for the insight.

i ask because i think sagnol is one of the most underrated players in the world and especially at rb. personally, i thought he was an unsung hero at world cup 2006.

as he's been out of the loop for awhile, i look forward to him coming back.

I agree, it's a shame because I thought he was the best RB of the tournament and one of the best RB's in European football for a couple of years, if not the best.

Unfortunately, in an interview today after the Bayern game, Sagnol announced that he wants to leave Bayer in the winter. If there is no compromise between him, who is clearly frustrated with injury and the depth the team has now, then there will probably be tons of big teams after him. Juve and Manchester have been interested in the past and a move to them cannot be ruled out.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who has noticed Frey's weight gain :p, he's been quite a bit heavier since he came back from a injury a year or so ago, however whilst he may have cocked up with the second goal i think Frey's form for Fiorentina this season has been excellent and he's argueably been consistantly good for a number of years so i'm sure he's in Domenech's future plans.
