can our Armenian friends who visit here (and are voting for Armenian victory) please introduce themselves?
Błaszczykowski and Zurawski are ruled out due to injuries and are to be replaced by Łobodziński and Saganowski
Saganowski will kick a$$! I think he is finally coming into his own, becoming what he could have been for the last ten years, if not for the unfortunate injury and other off-the-pitch problems. I worry about Blaszczykowski, though. Some reports indicate that he may need surgery...let's hope it doesn't cause any problems with his status at Dortmund.
Poland team for today's game: Boruc Wasilewski, Bak, Zewlakow, Bronowicki Lobodzinski, Dudka, Lewandowski, Krzynówek Smolarek, Saganowski the expected changes to have Saganowski and Lobodzinski start along with some unexpected moves with Bronowicki in the back and Dudka in his more successful position as a d-mid
Armenia's team acording to ESPN's Soccernet: 1 Gevorg Kasparov (G) 5 Robert Arzumanyan (D) 4 Sargis Hovsepyan (D) 2 Yeghishe Melikyan (D) 14 Vahagn Minasian (D) 18 Aleksandr Tadevosyan (D) 6 Ararat Arakelian (M) 9 Hamlet Mkhitaryan (M) 17 Aghvan Mkrtchyan (M) 10 Armen Shahgeldyan (M) 7 Artur Voskanyan (M) no forwards? i don't enough about Armenia's team to say if that's true or not...
20 minutes into the first half and nothing much to report Poland has most of the action but nothing to show for it
27 minute and still fairly quiet Saganowski had a chance from close in but saved by G. Kasparov (the former chess champion is also a political activist in Russia ) game can be followed in English here (check out the Gamecast function): http://soccernet.espn.go.com/match?id=197370&cc=5901
30 min ..Sagan with another chance from close in but misses wide, poor field conditon might have had something to do with his miss (or not)
Blaszczykowski and Zurawski in for Lobodzinski and Smolarek in the 60th min sure hope Leo knows what he's doing, maybe Rasiak would have been a better choice instead of Zurawski
not good Sobolewski in for Bak in the 64th min (hope the ref has his cards ready) and it gets worse Michitarjan scores for Armenia in the 65th min from a free kick and makes it 1-0
