OK, that's pretty much all the info, but I thought people would want to know. Great job by GolTV to secure the rights to this game. Far better than anything on FSC that day. I, however, will be stuck as a groomsman taking pictures for a buddy's wedding.
Yes, great job Gol. Hey, don't put Kelly and his Toulouse partner on it. Phil and Hudson are the best you've got so if it's not an international feed, which tends to be of a very high quality on Euro qualifiers then they've got to be the team. I have to say that this upcoming week will be amazing given the number of games Setanta usually shows, FSC's increased coverage of qualifiers, and now Gol's addition of a top match. We're doing better in the States than many countries in Europe in terms of the coverage we are receiving. Take care.
I'm very happy to see this on GolTV no matter who the broadcast team is....I was wondering what GolTV was up to since they didn't show any matches on the last FIFA date (granted it was mostly friendlies). I'd like to see more international matches on GolTV in the future.
Since they will be showing 18 of the 90 South American World Cup Qualifiers starting in October (I believe they will show one match each match day), you can expect to see those matches coming up soon.
GOL TV will be showing several Euro 2008 qualifiers this fall....the home matches of Spain and Italy: Italy vs. France Sep 8th 2:50 p.m. Spain vs. Latvia Sep 12 4:00 p.m. Italy vs. Georgia Oct 13 T.B.D.
