With the success of the “World Draft” and “Draft of Drafts” on the beautiful game forum I had an idea. How about a Euro 2004 draft? But the difference in this draft is that the players you pick will have a chance to perform against the other teams in a fantasy league. We can use the stats on UEFA.com fantasy league to determine points. People may ask”Well, why don’t we just create a league on UEFA.com?” The reason I don’t like that is that there wouldn’t be a draft. And that’s half the fun. Theoretically in UEFA.com’s fantasy league every team can have the same players. But in my fantasy league there will be only one Totti, Van Nistlerooy, Henry, Lampard, etc. to go around. I’m thinking we can have a minimum of 16 teams to make this thing work. And with only a month to go it’s best to get this thing rolling if people are interested.

i am so in - you might want to put together the precise rules of the game (scoring, how many players drafted, etc.) ASAP

I think the amount of people who sign up will determine how many players a team can draft. Scoring can just be taken from the UEFA.com fantasy league that they will have. It's the same as the CL league that they had. For e.g. goals by forwards are 4 points, defenders and goalkeepers keeping a clean sheet is 4 points, and etc. Go here for the CL fantasy league scoring rules: http://en.uclfantasy.uefa.com/M/rules.mc?
