I'll be a good fan and pass this info along so everyone sees it. J Wuerth will be thankful.
I think it sould like a good time, and if I lived in Columbus I would definately be down for it.

In case you don't want to read the article, here's the important stuff:
"The Crew is offering a package for $125 that would include admittance to all 31 games of the Euro 2004 Tournament, and a ticket to the U.S.-Grenada World Cup Qualifier. Single-game/day viewing will cost $10, except for the June 13 games, which will require a ticket to the U.S.-Grenada qualifier and cost $25."
"Please call Jeff Wuerth with any questions or to order over the phone at 614-447-4174."

Seems like a pretty sweet deal if you are in very close proximity to the stadium...

It would be a good deal if they got me out of work for all those games as well.

I hope they aren't expecting a WC viewing party turnout.

Funny that you mention tape-delayed games.

I used to watch any game I could. I even watched Sheffield Wed. vs Blackburn one year, videoed it and watched it two more times.

Now it's Liverpool vs Arsenal LIVE in the morning and I'm not fcuking bothered cause it's at 7:30am. Funny how that works out.

I'll probably spend all day at work listening to matches on internet radio. I hate timezones.

between my work, class, and extensive social calendar i just can't see it being worth it. i could be persuaded to shell out a 10spot though, depending on the matchup. i'd just have to make sure i had a good buzz on before i went in there. i blow enough money on beer at ccs when the crew are playing.

Better beat Croatia (France on the other hand, oh where is my faith). I'd be at the first game but I can't make the USMNT game do to a firm commitment that doesn't end until two, and the 2nd game I have to pick up my wife at the airport in Cincy at 2pm, so I plan on watching those games at the pubs. The enviroment for the world cup games was great at Crew Stadium. I figure England and a couple other teams should draw a few fans to watch the games. Any chance to show some love for Hunt Park I'm all about.

i still don't know what the problem with the thistle is/was. i still go there. but, based on the cost for a bar or restaurant, i doubt it.

What's the (Euro 2004) schedule for June 12 and 13? I'm thinking about just spending the night in Columbus, since Crew plays Saturday and then the US plays Sunday. Are there any games early Saturday or Sunday?

Fado's is showing the matches. A pass is $150 and my understanding is that it is $10 game or $20 a day. The Crew release is not clear on the game/daily charge and since Setanta generally sets the price my guess is their daily charge will end being the same as Fado's.

For those interested Fado's does the Setanta Pub Channel and they are showing the Euro U21 games and the English playoff games this weekend "near live." There is no charge for these games.

From talking to Fados, it sounded like it was $20 a day, set by Sentena, no matter if you watch one or two games. The guy I spoke with also said that he could knock down the package price to $125 if I remember right, could be wrong. Also they have a fantasy league going on, you can check the website for Fados. I don't have the cash for all of that, but sounds interesting.

Speculation is that FSW might carry them on 72+ hour delay.

The Crew will probably charge $10 per day if they get enough interest.
