feeling confident is one thing...but to say there isn't a single team in Europe than can beat us will only get us in trouble. No one can say that! Not Brazil, not France, not Italy and not Germnay.

I would prefer to say, "There isn't a single team that we can't beat!!" Because in the end, all teams can be beaten, even Germany!!!

    lol :D;)

That Rahn own goal was even better than metzelder's against slovakia

Anyway, england must win against russia to qualify
A draw means they must avoid defeat against croatia in the last game (ie. next game)
A loss means it's in Russia's hands as they have a game in hand over england.

Holland lose 1-0 to romania! hahahah

    Great result for scotland. Awesome.

All these minnows lining up to be beaten by Germany :D

True enough. What I meant was more along the lines of, there isn't a team in Europe that has a better chance of winning in a given game than us. In other words, we're the very best.

I'm always going to expect the worst and be ready for disapointment. Still won't stop me from saying this.

I'm citing Jogi Löw extra for you:

"Wir gehören noch nicht zu den absolut Besten in Europa. Wir müssen noch hart arbeiten für das Ziel Europameisterschaft. Vieles hat bislang schon gut geklappt. Wir müssen aber optimieren und dürfen nicht stagnieren."

Well, that might be understatement ... but it shows that there's no reason for overestimation!

    England, totally shocking!
IMO it would be awful not to see them at the Euro. It just wouldn't be the same... :(

Seriously, I still don't believe they won't make it, I just can't see it happen.

I wouldn't miss them though. Honestly.

Israel have to tie Russia, and England have to win their next game. It does not look good.

Well, another case of England shooting themselves in the foot. I don't know what second choice steve was thinking in starting Lescott as LB, sorry TOLH, but he had a crap game and could never keep up with the Russian attack.

Also, I think France's praying has been answered. Scotland choked BIG TIME today.

    Idiot McClaren and Eriksson...

I hate saying this but Carragher is by far the best defender in England. I honestly think Lescott-Carragher would be the best pairing for England.

I'll be very surprised if Steve Staunton still has a job by the end of tomorrow.

Carragher really isn't the best player to play at RB or LB either. Why not play Shorey or even Barry at LB? Both are more experienced in that position and didn't have such an important game as their first international start. McClaren is such a fool sometimes with his tactical ignorance. There is a plethora of great CBs for England and you can't start them all so what does he do? He plays them at fullback......oi vey.......

Can anyone say Mourinho for England? :D
