For Brugge, Mignolet has played every game except two (early last season). That being said, if you were Horvath, would you stick with Forest or push for a loan or a move to guarantee a shot at the NT, perhaps even being the no.1 in Qatar?
I think you try to leave for a starting job; you just be much more selective if Forest win the playoff.
A peek at Forest vs the playoff challengers: Huddersfield {would not be Forest's opponent until the Promotion Final at Wembley) Forest Won 0-2 (Sept) | Lost 0-1 (Dec) Luton Town Forest Drew 0-0 (Nov) | Lost 1-0 (Apr) Sheffield United Forest Drew 1-1 (Nov) | Drew 1-1 (Mar) Middlesbrough Forest Lost 0-2 (Sept) | Lost 2-0 (Dec) Millwall Forest Drew 1-1 (Sept) | Won 0-1 (Jan)
Horvath played in the 1-1 draw @ Sheffield Utd in March and the 0-2 loss to Middlesbrough back in September (a game to forget).
Damn, I was hoping he would have an amazing record against one of the teams and be drafted in to start.

Forest scored first to go up 3-1 on aggregate, but two second-half goals from Sheffield Utd have Notted things up at 3-3, with extra time and Pks looming.
Well Bamba is about to be a hero or meh.. hard to be the villain unless he really does poorly here. Edit: was the hero saving 3 penalties
Now we wait until May 29 to see the big showdown for all the marbles: Horvath v Holmes Nottingham Forest v Huddersfield Town
That was one of the more impressive penalty performances you'll see from a keeper. Swaggered around like he didn't have a care in the world. Calmly blocked 3 of the 4 he faced. Good time to build him a statue.
Maybe the planets are aligning for Horvath to somehow steal the no.1 spot and be starting in the PL come August.
I honestly don't see how that's possible. Samba just pushed Horvath deeper onto the bench. It was a legendary shootout performance. He also had a stunning save deep into extra time to keep it level. Huge performance from him today.
...unless he (Samba) goes somewhere else for more money. If Samba stays put, then Horvath needs to leave, whether it's for more money or not.
That's fair and I'm a bit stoned and I watched the shootout after a long interview, but it was one of those moments that to me at least seemed like it cemented a player to a club and fanbase. If they go on to win the thing and make it to the promised land, I think it would be absolutely insane for Samba to leave. It was the perfect springboard to ascend to that level. If they lose it and he knows he can parlay today to something better or more lucrative, yea, you make a good point. But then Forest would have to bring in someone else and maybe he'd win the spot over Horvath. That would truly suck. If I'm Horvath, either way, I'm out.
Samba was awesome in this match. Dragged Forest to the final within a series of superb saves in the run of play, and then saved 3 penalties in the shootout. Just outstanding.
Let’s face it, Samba is just a better all around player. He’s stronger in multiple areas and provides more calm/assurance to the team by being better on the ball. Horvath is an excellent shot stopper but Forest seem a better side with Samba in the net, provided he doesn’t lose his mind and take a swing at a player.
Samba is wasted in the Ch'ship. If they fail to promote, he's likely to be acquired by some better team.
