    You're correct.

    My mistake.

Wrong again, mate. You're forgetting about Everton and Leicester. The best those two sides can do is 36 points...so as I said before, Forest were safe once they beat Arsenal yesterday.

The most Horvath thing ever. Get potentially injured before a potential high point in your career.

Well, he's clearly good to continue.

Extra time half-time break has just concluded, which would have been the best time to replace him if he wasn't.

    They didn't.

    Edit:
Mind you, he isn't looking entirely comfortable either. Maybe they'll have a decision to make before the shoot-out starts

    They win 6-5 in PKs:

ETA: Former USYNT player (though ineligible) Dan Potts scored #6 for Luton Town.

Luton Town win on penalties (Horvath did not have to make a save) and have won promotion to the Premier League.

They need more upgrades than they will be able to afford.

Didn't make any saves in penalty kicks or any real ones in the game. Got scored on. Wasn't expected to do much on that.

He was a little shaky overall. Commentators were harsh on him, like blaming him for the defender leaving it and Ethan slide tackling instead of taking a concussion.

But I don't think he did enough to keep the job going up or with another EPL club. Another Championship club in contention would probably want him for another go though, or maybe a club in a comp between the C'Ship & EPL in quality.

Second most Horvath thing ever win the penalty shootout for Championship Playoff Final without ever making a save! Congratulations to Ethan. Please enjoy it!

This makes Luton the first team to drop from the Top Flight to non-league and climb back again.

And spare a thought for Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, who's been with Luton since 2014. He'll be the first player in history to play for the same team in all of England's top 5 divisions.

Yeah, so let's hope he plays for them next year :D
(If I'm Luton I'd play him a game no matter what)

And for those that didn't watch, lone goal wasn't on Ethan, he had the shot covered, but it was redirected in mid-flight by the defender. The Luton defense was pretty miserable on the play though, so it was a deserved goal for Coventry I'd say, even if the way it happened was awfully unlucky for Luton and undeserved for Ethan.

He's unusually well-liked at the club, so even if they move him on, it's not too hard to envisage a situation where he makes a garbage sub appearance in the first game before the move is finalized.

so 2 seasons in a row now Horvath has gotten his club promoted to the EPL but it's likely he won't play for either team in the EPL???

    make it make sense.

Horvath was Forest's backup keeper last season. He only played in a handful of matches.

If I recall correctly he had a descent spell for a while there as the starter mid season

Yes, as I said he played a handful of matches last season. Brice Samba started 43 Championship/Playoff matches for Forest in 21/22.
