Horvath starts but isnt great,Steffen does his back again, and Turner is nailed to the bench. Nightmare scenario for November.
I'm just glad he's going to Luton so I don't have to make a "Sunderwhelming" thread title pun Should be a fun year for us fans. Here's to hoping Ethan's found a home.
That explanation is sufficient onto itself. Doubly so for a guy who'd spent the last 4-5 years drinking Belgian beer, chilled of course.
I was raised on the triumphs of Keller,Freidel,Howard,Hahnemann, and Guzan. I want these lads to succeed, but the quality is not the same. Now,get off my lawn!
Moneybags Horvath: Every Premier League club's highest paid player👀 pic.twitter.com/i3IQ5Qt1OK— The Sun Football ⚽ (@TheSunFootball) July 2, 2022
Guess that answers the "why doesn't Horvath come to MLS" question. That wage converts to $1.2 million annually, which is about $300,000 more than Eloy Room, the league's highest-paid goalkeeper.
Luton has some history with USMNT GKs. Juergen Sommer and then Ian Feuer each played over 80 games for Town in the 90s.
He did. CCV was largely credited with being a savior to help them avoid relegation. IIRC, they went from bottom of the table at Xmas to18th after CCV came in the January window. The club is pretty remarkable and resilient going from Conference to Championship playoffs in 10 years.
Well since Sterling has already been sinking - it was £1 = $1.36 in January - and the Brexit brown stuff has only just started to hit the fan, that exchange rate differential might not hold for too long . . .
Their signings have all been received positive making a push to be in the playoffs again & perhaps higher.
Could pass for familiar surroundings of Colorado. But…… we know CO isn’t that green right now. Lots of yellow and brown with our dryness. Ugh!
Broomfield / Westminster. Depends on which way you pull out of the neighborhood. I had a few coaching battles against Ethan when he was at Real CO and I was at Broomfield and/or FC Boulder. I still have those battles with Real CO…. just with the Rapids YSC. Always support our guys and gals in the pro ranks from CO. There are plenty of them!
Luton wanted CCV back too just didn't want to do another loan and couldn't afford to buy him outright Luton was helped a bit by Wigan going into administration too but even still CCV played very well there
It's a very, very well-run club that does their homework, week-in-week-out. They really have no business being in this division, but if they want Ethan, that says a lot about him still having what it takes. I hope this one goes through.
Very cool CO has always had strong soccer community. Grew up myself playing in CO just moved back a year ago after 30 years elsewhere. Keep up the development and support !
