Someone give that man a contract and the No. 1 shirt. He needs to play.

Very happy for him, he deserves it. Hope he finds a nice team now who gives him a no1 spot.
In my opinion a lower to mid table German team would be ideal. Wouldn't aim too high, but try to get extra assurances about the no1 spot.

Are there any extended highlights of the game online?

Specifically extended highlights of Ethan's performance

The universe definitely willed it so he'd have his shot to showcase himself and he did so superbly!

Normally I think NT play is fairly overrated as a means to a club move. That said — Horvath has so, so little tape for the last two seasons that this game + the CR match can actually move the needle for him. Here’s to hoping he stamps a clean sheet in a couple days.

And the Swiss match as well.

It def seems this is the moment for him to shine and help catapult himself relatively speaking.

His agent better be working his ass off right now. Ethan continually proves that he is a very good keeper when given the chance both with club and country. Hopefully people inside the US program can start making some calls because you know there are plenty of connections there. Also, American keepers have a good reputation so he at least has that going for him.

I feel like it's kind of strange that we aren't hearing any rumors about him.

True, but he's a quiet guy, so he's got something(s) in the works.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :(

I feel like his agent may not be the best given what happened with Club Brugge. Surely he could have found Ethan a landing spot before this?

It was kinda hard to be a passionate supporter during the 2 years in which he didn't start.

    Double overtime! Love it

But seriously, he is a sleeping giant. He has shown brilliance over and over while being a bench guy (CL game, Mexico game). He deserves a starting spot in a first division club somewhere. Brugge screwed him good, but he seems to have kept sharp! He must have an amazing attitude and work ethic to have kept sharp.

This is my fear too...that he just feels super comfortable being the backup at Brugge for some reason and re-signs there.

I doubt that happens. He has shown to everyone including his doubters that he can get it done. This kid is going to a new club.
