Kudos to MLS and the players for this effort. I'm always happy to see the community interest from leagues like the NFL, but I have to admit that MLS does a decent job of using it's overburdened staff to get weight behind important projects like extolling the virtures of literacy to kids. -Tron
Another reason why certain players are so valuable to their communities. On a related note- Nick Rimando was supposed to be at the Arlington Central Library yesterday, but his appearance was cancelled. In his place another Freedom player was supposed to appear (I believe it was Skylar Lyttle) joining Jacqui Little who was originally supposed to appear with Rimando.
