    From RapidFire:

"There's been a change in mindset in the last month where we have come together as a team. We went to San Jose after they took it to us earlier in the season at our home and got a point there. Historically speaking, this [Pizza Hut Park] is a tough place to play, but I think we were resilient. Not only is the point important, but we're also building character at the right time of the season. It feels good to come into places and go away with a point."

It's greeat that the team's building up their confidence. They probably think that now they can get a point almost anywhere--perhaps even Dicks Sporting Goods park.

Point here, point there...that's how you win a championship.

A point on the road isn't a bad thing, but the mentality that 1 point is good enough when you're playing a team below you in the table is a losing one, you have to win SOME games on the road if you want to go anywhere.

All of the "legendary" teams manage to win more games than not on the road. Amen, brother!

As someone pointed out in another thread: a tie is 2/3s of a loss, pointwise. Sneaking in to SJ to play for a tie; ouch.
