Bah. Just like single entity. The Metros lose Howard for a key game, so the league goes out and signs them a veteran Premier League goalie.

What's next? Do they bring in Ronaldo because Mathis is out?

    :)

I come not to praise Cassar, but to bury him

Leaving aside the Mutts ability to make players appear by magic, I don't think it will matter.

From the sounds of this it looks like no strings were pulled at all by the Metros. At this point, they are still so run down and demoralized that if the Revs can't get 3 points, they deserve to stay home anyway.

    all backwards

This whole thing sounds backwards to me.

Metros call up "A-leaguer" Cassar to "back-up" Grafer.

    Hmmmmmm...

MLS veteran Cassar has trained with (if not played much) in EPL. Currently getting playing time in the A-league.

Grafer hasn't played in a match in about 2 years and had a 3.14 GAA when he did.

I won't be surprised if Grafer comes up with a mysterious injury, allowing his 'back-up' to step up.

they didn't say how much he played in england which usually means 2 games with the reserve team.
I hate Ronaldo as much as i hate roger clements,i'll take Del Piero (juventus) if we could though!
