after those 2 goals, the question now is: has boselli played his last game for Estudiantes?

Boselli played tonight and his group lost. Veron disturbes me, and I think I am not the only one who thinks that way. Poor defending tonight and poor finishing,..

Estudiantes is prone to lose this kind of matches, for a simple reason, while Orión and Sosa were good signings they didn't focus in their main weakness which for about two years has always been the same, the centre of the defense if you look at the first and second goal you'll notice that, hell even against Barcelona, but they didn't get any single centreback. So when they face any team that can defend well(which Gimnasia somehow managed to do in less than a week) and plays well on counter the centre of the defense is a gift for any opposition. Also Sabella seems to be quite naive addressing this issue, he took off Cellay to bring in Rojo??? Well done for a fullbacks parade.

Against Huracan, 1-0 Estudiantes, Boselli header after a corner.

Boselli can't play: when Boca sold him to Estudiantes, part of the agreement was that el pincha could not utilize Boselli in all the matches vs. Boca.

Veron will also not be available, but that is due to a one match suspension.

Nope. It's a lame agreement that Boca made with Estudiantes when the transfer was completed. Ever since he left Boca, he hasn't been able to face his ex-club and never will until he moves on to another team.

I understand putting this clause when it's a loan deal, but when a club has paid to acquire 50% of the player's transfer rights they should be able to use him whenever they'd like to.

The height of stupidity. He's suppose to be the leader. Imagine him pulling that crap off in the WC.

This is his second red card this torneo and don't forget he already pulled it with the NT in Asuncion.... the only bad thing now is that there is no chance he will get injured before the wc...

i really hope central can get the 3 points, maybe lucho can do something.

Estudiantes losing, Inter Milan winning. But he goes with players from the the team that loses. Sosa, Veron, and Clemente will be in the final squad. I'd probably put money on it.

He was at the stadium called after himself.

    Ran out of corn?;)

Amazing, Estudiantes must've been the team that got favoured the most by officiating and they're complaining now. Hopefully they get raped in Porto Alegre.

That game was AMAZING!!! So emotional, I am really rooting for Argentinos to win it and keeping my fingers crossed Cambiasso and Zanetti make it the squad.

nice piece. i don't like veron- although i have stood up for him at times on these boards.

the one thing that he must be commended for his that he made his money in europe, but came back with plenty left in the tank to play for the club he loves. he also helped estudiantes financially when he was in europe.

like i said- the guy isn't my cup of tea, but i wish more top players would come back at 30 like veron, instead of 34-35 which has been the norm for many
