Along with other misinformation such as Kries being "one of" the leading scorers in MLS history.

    A very good read.

Cool. So I'll be correct when I refer to him as MLS' active all time leading scorer.

Stewart to Dallas would be awesome. I have vowed to make at least 1 Burn game this year. I might have to make a couple more.

It's a bit odd that Connolly gave all that ink to Joe-Max Moore in his article.

Moore's desire to continue playing in England is well-known, and latest rumor has it that there's a pretty good chance (80 to 90% per Chris Bergin) that he'll sign with Wolverhampton next week.

Does not compute... Does not compute...

I thought the reason why he was leaving Everton was that his work permit expired.

He's looking go to the 1st Division, where you don't need a work permit. And I want to say Wolverhampton has supposedly offered him a contract.

First Division teams do require work permits. But through some quirk, it's easy to get a work permit (at least for JMM given his number of caps) for a new team then to get a nenewal. Basically he won't get the work permit at Everton b/c he isn't starting.

As for Stewart, et. al. we'll know soon enough. Remember, Connelly argues it's speculation on his part. I don't think Hudson is making a play for JMM. In fact, Hudson was quoted as saying he'd talked to JMM and JMM was intending to take an offer from England. Actually, if DC does not go for Stewart, it's likely to be b/c Hudson is looking at an Argentine striker in La Liga (or of course, b/c Stewart choses Dallas--Connelly seems to forget that Earnie has a say in this whole matter and even if DC says "yes" he may still choose Dallas).

Hmmm. Is Batistuta looking at finishing up his playing days in the States?

I'm sure it is a "discount" version. So far there are 3 Argentines he's looked at: LaPaglia (still playing in Argentina, who was incredibly well regarded as a youth player--people expected him to be a star of the National team, and then he plateaued. Too expensive), Osario (playing in the Italian Serie-B, again beyond the MLS max. salary) and this third person (who hasn't been named).
