    I think I read something on these boards about ESPN doing a WUSA game that day. Opening day.
    I fairly sure that's what it is.

    yeah... WUSA opening game between Washington Freedom and Carolina Courage. rematch of the 2002 championship game.

    It was listed as the WUSA game, but is now TBA. No clue why they changed that.

    The WUSA is trying to get some airtime on ESPN.

    The tentative deal also would contain one regular season broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2. It is expected the game chosen will be the Mia Hamm-led Washington Freedom at Carolina Courage on April 5.

    They have another game on their long-range schedule.

    According to SoccerTV.com, the WUSA is negociating for a time-buy agreement. I guess nothing is finalized yet, thus the "TBA" in the schedule.
