That annual price isn't bad considering my Black Friday deal for just ESPN+ for a year was $110 after taxes. Now we just sit and wait to see how much Fox One costs.
Julie Foudy seems to be out at ESPN. https://awfulannouncing.com/espn/julie-foudy-out-no-new-contract.html One of the rumors is that she's headed to Netflix for their coverage of the FIFA WWC.
In a surprise to nobody, ESPN+ isn't going anywhere because of separate rights deals and all that. https://awfulannouncing.com/espn/di...-plan-sticking-around-media-rights-deals.html
Disney+ will have UEFA Women's CL action starting next year. This is in the UK...in the USA too? https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...omens-football-market-champions-league-rights
Interesting. This year (maybe last too?) it's been on DAZN, which I've used plenty. (to follow my team all the way the fvcking final!) If next year is on Disney+ does that really mean ESPN+? If so, I'm down with that since I already subscribe and am comfy w/ ESPN+ (but I've been avoiding Disney successfully so far)
In what way? ESPN had UCL years/decades ago. And EPL too for a while. And in more recent years they’ve had DBL, La Liga, Serie A(?), English cups, etc.
That's U.S. rights of European competitions. I mean that ESPN currently doesn't have any sports rights in France, Germany, Italy or Spain.
Oh, you mean people in those countries will need to use ESPN to stream their own domestic league games? Got it.
