Was the ESPN set a green screen today for the preview show? I know that their original location got flooded.
It was interesting to see Burley actually smile sincerely and joke around during one of the last ESPN FCs. Seems like a different person on site.
UEFA EURO 2016 TV Schedule - Friday, June 10. 2:00 pm ET-2:30 pm ET - UEFA EURO 2016 - Pre-Match Show - ESPN2/WatchESPN. 2:30 pm ET-5:00 pm ET - UEFA EURO 2016 - Match - France vs Romania - ESPN2/ ESPN3/WatchESPN. Commentators - Ian Darke (Play-By-Play) - Taylor Twellman (Analyst) - Steve Bower (Reporter). 5:00 pm ET-5:30 pm ET - UEFA EURO Tonight - Post-Match Show - ESPN2/WatchESPN. 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN FC - ESPN2/WatchESPN.
Also a reminder that EACH Euro2016 match will have 4 additional feeds available on espn3: - Aerial Cam - Tactical Cam (behind-the-goal view) - Aerial Multi View (triple-box) - Tactical Multi View (triple-box) SA www.soccertvblog.com
There is a 52 second delay (via computer) and a 55 second delay (via Roku) between ESPN2 TV image and ESPN3 Aerial Cam (same with other Cams). Had to PAUSE ESPN2 for that time to synch the images and have to say it results in a great way to enjoy a match. Have the TV feed on the big projector and the aerial feed on one of the side TVs (42"). Have both audio feeds on which is awesome as the natural feed sound from the stadium (espn3) drowns out the commentators when something big is happening on the field. Just a great combination. (Sorry for the score but very early in the match)

Yay Jon Champion being part of the daily rotation! Pleasantly surprised with Moreno's color commentary today on Albania-Switzerland, said what needed to be said, didn't pull punches.
The only reason why I could see her being useful is to bring in the Casual fan. "Hey, it is that one old girl who kissed her girlfriend after winning the Female World cup thing. This Euro thing must be important if she is on my TV."
And Tirico keeps on mentioning Bordeaux is wine country. You can tell what is on his mind after this game day is over.
Both the "new" ESPN app and WatchESPN app on Android seem to be slow and pixelated today for the Wales-Slovkia match. I guess a lot of people want to see Bale. I had to switch to my Dishanywhere Sling app for better picture quality.
Can anyone explain to me the hiring of Wambach? She has never played at the euros so what is she adding to the process here apart from espn necessitating a female voice on everything (except for monday night football, they wouldnt dare).
Not surprised at Wambach being a terrible analyst. Even when she was playing, when she was asked to analyse the matches she was watching or playing in, she never did a good job. ESPN has to fire her, force her to do basic research (I mean...she made a comment on Bale scoring the free kick with his left foot as if it was surprising ), or pass her notes. @HomietheClown got it right, Fox hired the better female analyst.
So we're all in agreement that it was an unecesary gender equity hire? Maybe the nba should hire Sheryl Swoops to be in the studio for the nba finals, even though she never played in one!
Abby is one of the only complaints I have about espns coverage. My other complaint is that I couldn't really hear the commentary too well during the France game when the crowd got loud, it might just be me. Also, why can't the espn fc crew be in France? Or at least send it over to france for a couple minutes during the show?
I had to switch to ESPN Deportes this morning for Turkey-Croatia. I sincerely tried to listen to ESPN but after about 17 minutes in I just couldn't do it anymore.
