I've noticed that the Sklars have been referencing Bruce Arena and the 2006 USMNT. That's great for the show. However, that also means that the USMNT's 2006 WC performance gave Randy and Jason a lot of fodder to use. -G
Reviving an old thread for a good cause. My son just sent me this link: If you haven't already found them.....enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeMkisgmGpVrzDLSUReuooA?feature=watch
Glad you enjoyed it. Yea. I watched the 'Double-Dutch Championship' and 'Steve Garvey's Fishing Show' last night. My wife finally came in to see what I was laughing at............. ......It must just be a 'guy' thing.
Has she seen you watching the hour-long version of the 1997 Spelling Bee episode (one of the best episodes in a show already full of great episodes)? -G
It's too bad that 1997 Spelling Bee champion Rebecca Sealfon wouldn't likely watch the episode (unless she's changed her mind about it in the last year). -G
Flipping through the TV channels this morning (Thursday, Dec. 26th), I noticed two familiar looking and sounding guys hosting a sports talk show on CBS Sports Network HD (DirecTV channel 221). It turned out to be Randy & Jason, filling in for Jim Rome on The Jim Rome Show, still being funny even when covering sports and even making a few references to Cheap Seats. Among other things, they mentioned that they'll be filling in on the show tomorrow (Friday) morning as well. -G
Complete random, but part of last week's "This American Life" dealt with the Sklar brothers. Their Mom had a system of identifying them based on pin color for diapers. At a doctor's appointment while they were still babies a nurse took them to be weighed, she changed them, and put them both in new diapers which happened to not have pins, so when she brought them back to Mom she had two babies who looked exactly alike with the same diaper on. https://www.thisamericanlife.org/691/gardens-of-branching-paths/act-three-4
