Just saw it now, at the half right now Stupid ESPN should do a better job of advertising this stuff. For a while ESPN Classic has been garbage, showing very little games and more classic bowling and poker.
Wow! What a great atmosphere at that game. I sure hope that game provokes more people to go out and watch Red Bulls' games.
Saaaayyy whaaaaaat? That what I said to myself when I was flipping through the channels. It probably won't be the last time this match is on Classic. But how does a "rival" company broadcast a game from another, especially with the logos present?
Yeah, what's with FSC? They need some HD cameras or something, even that score ticker is lame, they look so amateur. Haven't seen it in a while or don't know if it's universal, but one game I saw at a friends on GolTV looked much better, very clear
Little League has gone into extra innings on ESPN2 (9th inning in 6-inning regulation), runs over a WNBA playoff game, now in the third quarter. Basically, live programming trumps recorded programming. The bigger problem is if Little League REALLY runs over, and either that or WNBA spills over into LA-CHV tonight.

this is ridiculous...im 22 n i have never seen soccer in america get the praise it deserves...r u kiddin me..cuttin out of a game to go to wnba game...granted sum wnba fans r prob goin crazy they couldnt see the game but whateva...soccer always gets dumped on...ALWAYS! this is lame...i just hope the chivas/galaxy game will be shown....also i think denilson comin to MLS will be a bigger impact on playin level on field than ne othas...he will tear the league apart..becks brings people to games denilson will excite everyone, he'll be a human hilight reel
There was a while there when the Mutiny left Tampa where I live, I was not into MLS...but now with Beckham, Denilson and others, I am actually back on board! I am liking the steps MLS is taking. Now bring back a team to Tampa and I will be all set.
It's at times like these that I realize Bigsoccer is chock full of delusion. The WNBA game was pre-empted too.
By the way, I do watch the WNBA as well, so I'm actually more upset that the rugrat baseball ran into the scheduled start of the game, but If it hadn't, I wouldn't have discovered LA-NY on Classic and got to see more than half of I game I never thought I'd get to see. Fortunately, the LLWS game has ended and there should be no issues affecting the MLS Game which I have to tape anyhow because of the late start time.
