New site, and as I understand it, Chicago was the first place to get one. They have the Fire logo at the top, which is a start, but more Fire content is needed. Still, it's a start. http://espn.go.com/chicago/index
They have a poll of who readers think will win the next championship. The Fire are not included. OTOH, they did include a link to video of the CRS-Washington Freedom tie (but not one for the Fire). Baby steps...
I read a nice piece on there about some of our international youngsters. This website will be a godsend for expatriate chicago sports fans.
it looks like they just filter their normal stories that involve chicago on to it, link a few bloggers, to try to pick up more local advertising. With the newspapers unable to understand that they need to compete with ESPN.com, this seems like a pretty obvious business idea. But I wouldn't expect any more Fire coverage than is already on ESPN.com(though how hard is it to get one blogger...)
weak, nice fire logo at the top, but cant even manage to list them on the calendar? who put this page together?
