Considering that Sociedad dropped 3 points....it makes this result even poorer.

And what's with Espanyol the last two week-they gave it good to Deportivo last week and now a draw with Real Madrid.

Espanyol is now coached by Javier Clemente who has now become a specialist at avoiding relegation for his teams. While a win would have been preferable, a tie at Montjuic isn't a bad result, especially considering Madrid trailed by 2 goals at one point.

I saw the highlights of the goals and while Roberto Carlos' goal was a nice one (and right footed too!), Figo's goal was really special. One of the better free kicks I've seen in a long time.

Maybe Barcelona should have looked to hire Clemente then instead of Antic. The last two teams Antic has coached (Atletico and Oviedo) he has taken down to the 2nd Division!

I saw the goals over the weekend as well. Figo's goal was sensational, a free kick from outside of the right hand side of the penalty area which he curled into the left hand side of the goal. The ball moved across the entire goal during it's flight into the net. Oh and while doing so it was dipping too!

    Un golazo de verdad!
