I just wanted to say nice job tonight. There were more ESC members at the game tonight, than any other night. You also sounded great.

Too bad about the result.......I can barely speak right now...

I brought 3 people to the game last night. This was their first game ever with the ESC. Here's an email that I got from one of them today:
Thanks to everyone for showing up in great numbers.

ESC was the higlight of the night.... loud and non-stop singing... brought some new faces and they enjoyed sitting in 101!! I got a little upset when after half time as we were returning to our seats some GS employee wouldn't let us back into 101... after i starting getting loud with her i realized that we could just go in the entrance on the other side...

Since when do they give people such a hard time about sitting in 101

That banner was awesome! The guy that got it made up shelled out over $500 for the thing. I think he said that it was custom made in Columbia.

I don't think he knew that the Metrostars were both NY/NJ, but he did know that he "loves the Metrostars". He said about 10 times during our conversation.

Now we just need to get one that says New York, to set up on the other side of the ESC.

i think for esc to look even better and surpass those abominable barn burners and ultras..giants stadium needs to sell cheap tickets behind the goals so ordinary people could just sit like to the sides of esc and maybe influence them and hand them confettis and flags and im sure we can look so much better than the fire fans cuz as of now i hate to admit their barn burners look way much better than our ESC.

Yeah like $8-$10 a seat. We could also give out flyers/song sheets with the songs and chants printed on one side and advertisement for the ESC and upcoming Metro home games on the other side. In the course of one season the ESC can grow by 100%.

Looking at those pics only leaves me to say one thing, when the hell do we get a stadium in the city?

eventually all of our crowds at metro games will be like one whole big ESC of course we can let the ones that come in families sit at the 50 yard line or the ones who just want to sit .. but those people who come from other countries in which they have spirited games with fires and confetti and what not they'll like it and help expand esc maybe creating other supporters club.............just imagine having all sections behind the goal and next to 101 singing all in synchronism how awesome would that look and sound on tv....because i know every person ive taken to metro games and sat them or stood them in 101 rather have gotten hooked and gone again....i once took this one big football fan(nfl) and he was hooked cuz the next time i saw him he was like singing ...."we are metro...piss on you" from there i know the guy had become a metro fan...

I was at nevada smiths before the open cup and they gave me a stack of tickets that they were unable to give away at the bar. I think I had like 6 tickets that went to waste... Until they get a new place to play its not going to change.

    Well, of course it's not.

Then again, there's not a thing we here can do about that.

Do we just sit at home until that day comes, or go out to the games and try and make something out of it?

I think you missed my point. Im not complaining but most people, and i do mean MOST people in the area are not going to go to giants stadium to watch that team . One of the things i realized that they should do more often is have earlier games. A lot more people would kill their saturday afternoon at the game rather than their saturday night...

Anyway, they need to do something because with their attendance being that poor, you have to wonder how long its going to last.

Based on their marketing, they really don't seem to care about the adults going to the game. Everything is slanted towards the kids. So I'm guessing the games are later, so they don't conflict with the kids leagues. Sad as this may be................
