Ernie Branco passed away early this morning in a car accident. You would see him at Rev's games with the referee's as he was a USSF National Referee Emeritus. He was the New England Revolution Referee Liaison with the Major League Soccer (MLS), World Cups and all International Games at Gillette Stadium for the USSF and FIFA . He was also the former Head men's soccer coach at Stonehill College (15 years) 1984-1998 (152-115-26). His son Jordan played on the first u18 Revs Academy team. Sad loss for his family and the local soccer community.
