For those who are interested, Matarazzo's Stuttgart avoided the playoff place on GD and will be in BL1 next season.

When has any male, on this planet, listed themselves shorter than what they are? lol Yes, camera angle. Yes, those guys are short.
You've never really wanted to try one of the kiddy amusement park rides, but were then told you were too tall? It's heartbreaking.
Brooks? On his day, he's a very good BL1 CB. Off-form he's a brain fart waiting to happen. He turns 30 in January, so that part of his game is not going to change. Consistency is essential in a defender, so if EPB is only 85% of an in-form Brooks, I'd be strongly inclined to leave the latter behind.
Pretty intelligent compared to the average footballer. Certainly way more articulate and seems genuinely balanced and thoughtful. Maybe confirmation for my suspicion that his biggest problem in living up to expectations is that he lacks the necessary asshole streak.

Ideally we’d like to see him get time in a club that’s less likely to face a relegation battle next season, but another season getting starts in a decent league doesn’t sound that bad to me.
Profile: https://prosoccerwire.usatoday.com/2022/06/03/erik-palmer-brown-troyes-usmnt-world-cup-roster/ It’s that final stop, with Ligue 1 side Troyes, that has finally given Palmer-Brown a home at which he can reasonably expect to stick around for a while. “I think I’m at a place in my career now where it’s a little more stable,” the defender said on a call with reporters on Friday.
Hell yeah. Why are folks so unhappy when our guys actually get to play somewhere, and be part of the solution! An old fishing proverb applies here. You don’t leave fish to find fish. Catch the ones that are there first, and then look for the elusive big one.
