Lots of back and forth in the Philly Forum about Erica Iverson and her wish to play in Boston. Boston could afford to change things up a bit. Erica brings a lot of energy to the game which is one area where Boston could use bolstering. The final thirty minutes never seemed to belong to Boston. On a similar note, the Philly page referred to Deidre Enos retiring. Didn't she return to the Boston area? Boston should try to dig her out of retirement. When she was Philly's "Super-Sub" she kept Phillly from sitting back on their heels late in the game and also forced the opposing defense to stay put so as not to get burnt by her speed. Both hold a lot of promise and having locals in the mix sure wouldn't hurt. Just an idea. I returned to Boston after finishing school in Maryland and will now have to switch my allegiance from Philly to Boston. Should probably change my handle as well.
B., welcome back to Boston. I hope to see you at the Breakers matches this year. Erica Iverson would be a fine addition to the Boston defense. I got to see her play for the Boston Renegades and liked her enough that I selected her in the WUSA mock draft prior to the first season. Erica is an example of a player that took some time to mature in the WUSA. The step up from college and W-League ball to the WUSA is significant. This is from a recent article on Philadelphia Charge general manager Tim Murphy at the WUSA web site. Where could the New York Power be now if they had held onto Erica to groom her under the tutelage of Gro Espeseth? That said, what would/could the Breakers give to the CheeseSteaks in return? Erica Iverson
Think **3** Minimum. In an ideal world, Lilly or Meinert along with the #3 pick, and we'd call it even, since she's that damn good Paul
Thanks for pointing this out nsa. Looks like this was another one of those brilliant personel moves made by Farmer and Co.
Re: Think **3** I dont think so.These two are staying right here.Maybe Angela though I'd hate to see her go.
