Friday FC Den Haag (16) - FC Volendam (12) The two newcomers to the top league play each other tonight. Knowing that Den Haag beat Volendam both times last year in the Eerste Divisie, it is expected over here that this match will bring the 1st Haagse victory in the Eredivisie since they made their comeback, and the much needed 3 points. Van der Gun will likely make his debut for Den Haag in this match, hopefully bringing a goal with him just like he did in a training match this past week. Maybe I'll go watch the game, you don't need one of those damned clubcards to go watch the game this time. saturday PSV (3) - FC Utrecht (10) For the people playing in the fun and entertaining, people-who-aren't-playing-are-missing-out, profcoach competition found HERE, here's a little hint: don't put your FC Utrecht player in the playing 11 this week, especially if he's a defender. FC Heerenveen (7) - FC Groningen (6) Heerenveen have forgiven Denneboom, them not having much firepower without him if Sibon still has his nose problem could be a reason, so he could play again this match. FC Zwolle (18) - Roda JC (9) Come on Anastisiou! Score many goals and gimme points! Zwolle are currently last in the league, don't see that changing after this match. RBC (13) - Vitesse (17) Vitesse seems to have taken over from where they ended last season: at the bottom of the table. I don't like RBC (everytime I see their coach, it makes me want to hurt my tv) so hopefully Vitesse will go back to being a somewhat sub-top team, and start the road to becoming that with this game. Ajax (2) - RKC (1) Looking at the standings, be it only for 3 games worth, this should be the Match of the Week!, and it could be. RKC are top of the league, but they've only played the newly promoted teams so far, so this should be a better test for the team. Ajax even though they've won every game, haven't really played so great while doing it, so RKC definitely got a big chance to remain top after this match (I'd rate Ajax's chances better though) Grygera will have to miss this match because of the injury he receiced during the match against Holland. Sunday AZ (4) - Feyenoord (5) I think AZ will win this game. They're at home, they've got the quality in their team, and the new Feyenoord haven't *clicked* with each other yet. As long as Buffel scores one or two I don't mind. NAC (11) - Willem II (8) This should be a fun match. Could go either way really. Boukhari could make his debut for NAC in the Eredivise, probably will. NEC (14) - FC Twente (15) Gentenaar Gentenaar, he's our man! If he can't stop them goals, no one can! Twente actually looked really good in their first game with some of their PSV hired players, some who didn't play against PSV though, so hopefully they'll still be inured for this game. Bah! I have faith in the NEC defense even if they play!
FC Den Haag (16) - FC Volendam (12) 3-0 PSV (3) - FC Utrecht (10) 2-1 FC Heerenveen (7) - FC Groningen (6) 20-0 FC Zwolle (18) - Roda JC (9) 1-1 RBC (13) - Vitesse (17) 2-0 Ajax (2) - RKC (1) 3-1 AZ (4) - Feyenoord (5) 0-0 NAC (11) - Willem II (8) 2-0 NEC (14) - FC Twente (15) 1-2
WOW! FC Heerenveen (7) - FC Groningen (6) 20-0!! Do you really think Heerenveen is that good and/or Groningen that bad?! ;-P
Watch out for Maurice Buys of Volendam. Bosschaart is back for FC U, they'll need him. I'll take Heerenveen and Roda. Vitesse is a mess. Ajax v top team RKC. I'd put money on Ajax, but not a lot Feyenoord wakes up Nac v Willem II - 7 goals? NEC v Twente - 6 goals. Should be fun
BTW Heerenveen-Groningen will be broadcast on the internet. It's on a pay-per-view basis, each match costs 4,95 euros....payment with creditcard check it out...www.yeahronimo.nl The site's in english so you won't have trouble finding your way
Well I wont touch that first question, but for the second one you're right. Psv - Utrecht is the only game beeing broadcasted live, all thanks to the great canal+. But hey thats why there are stadiums.. so Im off the Abe lenstra building site. (im to cheap for getting canal+. btw the Netherlands is the only country where canal+ isnt making a provit, so Im not the only cheap dutchie )
The only way I'm paying to see a football match, is if I'm in the stadium itself. The Hell with Canal+. The Scores ADO Den Haag - FC Volendam 1-1 motherfu.. Ajax - RKC 4-1 mr overrato scores his first goal for Ajax RBC - Vitesse 1-1 PSV - FC Utrecht 2-1 FC Zwolle - Roda JC 0-0 I'm dissapointed in you Roda SC Heerenveen - FC Groningen 1-0 Not quite 20-0, but close enough I guess
To complete day 4 of the Eredivisie NAC - Willem II 1-1 NAC deserved a little more, but they probably won't complain too much seeing as they got the draw very late in the game. NEC - Twente 2-1 I usually like the ref from this game (name escapes me at the moment) but damn, did he have an offday yesterday. Gentenaar stopped a penalty, so I'll forgive him for letting that other 1 go in. AZ - Feyenoord 2-2 Considering AZ had to play with 10 men the 2nd half of the match, not a bad score for them. Kuyt said after the match that Feyenoord are playing better and better every new match, so their supporters should have some hope for next week against PSV, at least they'll be playing better than this week.
...AND a positive play by Ajax, just in time for CL at Milan. Hopefully the dreadful early season performances are behind us.
I wouldn't even do that to an obnoxious Ajax supporter. The sizing is right. If you want to - check out the Feyenoord website, I think they have it on there. Maybe you'll wisen up and support a team that wants English speaking supporters That's mean, and a little evil. Sorry.
