Can someone clear up something for me? I know theirs the EPL but where does Celtic and SPL and all those other leagues play in with EPL? Do they play each other, are they all one league just sepereted in divison, etc? and whats Lisbon and St. Pauli in regards to Celtic FC? Thanks.
I'm not sure I completely understand what you're saying, but here goes. EPL is the English Premier League that is the top league of all the English teams Celtic plays in the SPL aka Scottish Premier League which is the top league of Scotland teams. There isn't a team named Lisbon, though there is Sporting Lisbon which plays in the top league of Portugese teams known as the Superliga(AKA Bwin Liga). St. Pauli is I think a 3rd division team in Germany meaning they play in the 3rd best league in Germany. All of these teams can play each other in the Champions League or UEFA Cup and if you want to know more about those wikipedia them, but they do not play each other in their league games as they're in different countries.
Are you referring to the "Lisbon Lions" that's the nickname for the Celtic team that won European Cup in the 60s. Good information on them on wikipedia as well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisbon_Lions If you're talking about the jerseys, the fact that Celtic and Sporting both wear Green and White hoops doesn't have anything to do with each other
I was on the Celtic FC site and in their merch they have diff sections that say Lisbon and St. P but are bascially the same merch, etc, didnt really understand that thats why I was asking thanks tho!
Ah, yes the Lisbon section is for the "Lisbon Lions" I told you about and it seems the St. Pauli stuff might be just a friendship thing. See this link http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/clubfootball/news/newsid=653719.html
