Can't recall a time when a saved penalty shot felt so good...especially with a blatant pk call missed the minute previous.

Another day and that game would have been comfortably over before the last minute theatrics.

 

Fred controlling the ball looks like a drunk guy trying to kick off his jeans while still wearing his shoes.

It’s so annoying because he can be a good player when he’s suppressing some of this shit. But when he’s not, and he’s at his worst with his gambling, he’s overwhelmingly a negative.

McTominay needs to do more of this, and he needs to do it more regularly when he is next to Pogba or Matic. And we need to keep moving into spaces that he can hit.

Can it just be said that so far, "instant replay" has been a failure in football? More often than not, the call is wrong and it just slows down the game.

 

Nah, just English football.

I can't speak for everywhere else, but MLS is also pretty bad with the replay.

 

It's because the rules are too subjective. It leaves way too much room for interpretation.

 

I hear premier league fans complain about referees a lot but their heads would explode if they had to put up with PRO.

 

Btw, while I don't know the exact number, we seem for the time being at least, to continue doing well coming back from losing positions. Don't want to have to come back from behind too often, but it's a good trait to have, when it is necessary and the situation warrants it.
