mmm the West Ham game just made it even more of a worry, so many times where if Sakho's touch had been better that they could have given us serious trouble. Ings' pace is going to be a major major pain in the ass.

What's the bet with Shaw suspended and the 1-1 that LvG uses it as an excuse to go back to 3 at the back?

Not going to be a lot of fun at this rate.

Happy that I'm forced to miss this one.

Agreed. To miss the first ball so many times is criminal but we then conspired to regularly miss the second and third as well. Their goal sums it up perfectly. If we continue to give the opposition free reign to take shots at our goal then they will eventually score or get lucky. We can be thankful that West Ham was poor in that regard and we were lucky to escape with a point.

It depends on Young. If he is fit then LvG will probably stick with the current system. If he is not then I doubt LvG risks moving Rojo to the side given how poor we have been centrally and in defending from set-pieces. It might be another case of three at the back for 'defensive stability'.

Honestly can't second guess LVG anymore, apart from Rooney in mid, DDG in goal and RVP up front.

If I see Rooney in midfield again, I will send a hate letter to LvG.

Glad I'm stuck at work. Another match of Rooney squandering the ball in midfield while NBC's commentators praise his amazing "drive and determination" is too much to handle.

If anyone else wants to support Atletico with me, just let me know. I'll send you a link to the official bandwagon supporters club.

I'm looking to invest myself in a more stable winning system, more of a big fish in a small pond variety. If you're in BigSoccer's Paris region come stop by.

Either that or I'm inventing a new theoretical footballing system, where you support academies and claim acclaim from their performances in later life.
Effectively Sporting are the glory Hunters of this system.

I think supporting a player instead of a club is the next big thing.

Jeez, typical of kids these days. Unable to stomach a bit of adversity and ye go running off in your pink knickers. Then you'll be back soon enough when we start winning trophies again. FFS.

Don't be mad that you didn't get neymar, hazard or pogba. There are plenty of great players for you to support.

From the press conference today LvG confirmed that Carrick is out injured and Shaw is suspended but aside from that he has a full squad to pick from.

does it even matter? this bastard would have taken Cantona and make him play CB.

"His range of passing is superior and he keeps the ball quite well. Eric disagreed which explains his actions," the Dutchman opined after Cantona kung fu kicked him in the balls.

    BTW I got Kane.

I will sell him next week for an over inflated British transfer record and buy Hazard, Pgba and the rest of the people mentioned above.

    Biatches!

He also went on a "fact" rant like FSW did. LvG has cracked.
