What I'm hoping we will see.

    DDG
    Valencia - Rio - Vidic - Evra
    Carrick - Cleverley
    Nani - Kagawa - Welbeck
    Rooney

Love the lineup obviously until RvP is fit, only possible difference I could see is Rafael over Valencia, with the V2000 coming on as an impact sub if needed. Not saying it's what I'd do or what we'll most likely see, but think I read somewhere today Sir Alex hinting that Rafael could be the choice at right-back.

    Possible Everton lineup:

    Howard
    Hibbert - Heitinga - Jagielka - Baines
    Osman - Gibson - Fellaini - Pienaar
    Naismith
    Jelavic

Naismith is an interesting pickup for Moyes. Now that Cahill has gone, he's got a glorious opportunity to amke his mark this season. I'm sure he's a bit of a dark horse to some, nut may go on to have a decent season I think.

Him and Jelavic make for one of the more fearsome combo's Moyes has had in recent times.

    Will play, might not start.
Better to ease him into the squad anyway.

I really hope we don't play 442 and start both Rooney and RvP. I feel like we will, but I hope that we don't.

If we do, I hope that Kagawa plays "from" the left. I'm way more excited by Kagawa than I am RvP.

Logic says Clevs/Carrick for the CM pairing so we'll probably see Ando/Scholes.

Fellaini and Gibson are just coming back from injury. I read their both not fit enough for this game.

Think RvP will start but I like the above lineup as well. For the love of God, none of that shit last year where Carrick didn't play much the start of the year.

I have a sneaking suspicion we'll see Kagawa and Cleverley in the middle.

    My Sneaking Suspicion XI

    ---------------RVP
    --------------------Rooney
    Young----------------------------------Nani
    -------------Kagawa---Cleverley
    Evra-------------------------------------Valencia
    ------------Vidic---------Carrick
    --------------------De Gea

Vince could have the lineup spot on. I'm hoping this news is not true :(.

Two months out for injured Rio Ferdinand as defensive crisis deepens at Manchester United

I think Danny will start and RvP will be subbed in sometime in the 2nd half but the rest of the line-up is spot on.

My long-shot, wouldn't really shock me because after all it's Fergie we're talking about, but in reality would surprise me suspiscion = swap Rooney and Kagawa. Rooney is to play regularly in midfield this season.

Not a lot. Just want to be the first to say I told you so/be seen as a visionary in case it happens.:p

Only things I have is Fergie being unpredictably predictable, Rooney playing there a couple of times last season, the "Alan Smith project" + it might be a way to fit everyone in.

    Doubt it really will happen.
