Just like last year, FOX is planning to air 3 tape delays this year. FOX is also planning to add more games during the season. One would assume that FOX might add 2 or more live games in 2013 before the end of the season. My gut feeling is that we might see 4-5 tape delay games this season on FOX, and 2-3 live games later on (Perhaps a live game during the NFL Playoffs to augment the ratings in January, one in Feb during the Superbowl Sunday, and one towards the end of the season)...Here is the news...

Fox is showing the Being: Liverpool special on Sunday 9/16. Fox will also air the Liverpool/Manchester United game on 9/23 and the Manchester United/Newcastle game on 10/7 both on replay after the games air on FSC. I would expect the Liverpool/Newcastle game to air on Sunday 11/4 as the other game on offer that day is QPR/Reading. All of these dates are weekends when Fox has the NFL single header.

I doubt Fox is going to pick up the Sunday 10/21 Prem games when Fox has the single header with the games on offer are Sunderland/Newcastle or QPR/Everton. Sunday 11/18 doesn't look like great shakes with Fulham/Sunderland as the only match offered at this point. As of now there are no Prem games being played on Sunday 12/2 & 12/16 which are the last two Fox single header weekends of the NFL regular season. Though I would guess that some games could be moved to Sunday from Saturday depending on what days of the week teams in the Prem are playing in Europe.

Yeah, the UK TV schedule is only made through November. Sunday matches for December/January will probably be made in the next few weeks. Man City-Man Utd will almost certainly be a Sunday match on December 9th, the last Champs League group week (though that doesn't work out well for FOX).

If that is the case, then it wouldn't make sense for FOX to show the game on FOX Soccer. I don't know if it's is a single-header weekend for NFL on Fox. If not, then I assume FOX might even push the game to F/X (the appeal of this game demands mass distribution vs limited distribution)

If the league and Manchester authorities decide to have it kickoff early on a Sunday then it surely will stay on FSC.

I think Fox has a baseball playoff game at 4pm ET on 10/21 (hence no late NFL games). So you can knock that one off anyway. I'd strongly suspect that Fox's 3 games are the ones you mentioned (Liverpool v Man United, Man United v Newcastle and Liverpool v Newcastle). If so, a big coup for Newcastle.

The weeks Fox has NFL singleheaders in December are 12/2 and 12/16. There aren't really any games those weekends that stand out.

The NFL Conference Championship Games are on 1/20. Chances are one of Chelsea v Arsenal or Spurs v Man United will air at 11am ET that day. I'd think Fox will show it live. As has already been mentioned, chances are Man City v Liverpool will air live on Super Bowl Sunday.
