He can get the cup games with Antony.

Highly frustrating performance. Nothing new, but infuriating all the same.

    Watching everyone running besides him.

Fin, Ruud gets WDWW - a couple of cup wins and a draw and a win in the EPL.

Finally getting a few goals a big help too.

Ruud van Nistelrooy writing in the match programme:

"United fans have always held a special place in my heart but I can honestly say that my love for you all has only grown during this period. The support I have had from the stands at Old Trafford has been fantastic and I have taken memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. I see only good things for Manchester United.

“I absolutely believe this club has all the ingredients to get back to the levels I knew as a player. From tomorrow, I will be getting behind our new head coach, Ruben Amorim, and I urge everyone who loves the club to do the same."

hilarious that since he burst onto the scene there's been all this energy to criticise and talk shit about Garnacho and no grace given for him being a teenager learning his trade, being overplayed or having to function (not thrive) in whatever amorphous nonsense ten Hag was concocting.

but Rashford scores a couple goals against nothing and nobody and suddenly he's back. same energy nowhere to be found.

i can't wait for the day we get a new #10

Garnacho changes his douche haircut and more people will start giving him some slack. Looking like Willem Dafoe‘s son and that haircut are just too much to overcome.

I am watching the replay. I know we won. I am up to the end of the first half. One question and a statement

    1) Where does Ed Woodward go for his apology on Amad?

    2) Amad is who we thought Sancho would be

MOTM is maybe a little over-strong, however him sitting deeper allowing Cas to operate and help further forward is helping our attack (in addition to him obviously giving a better screen to our CBs).

His passing is often under-rated too - such as his pass out wide to Maz who then crosses for the second goal.

His performance helps knit the different parts of the team together.

I was wondering what was up with Garnacho not celebrating his goal:

    Bruno said this:

“Garnacho scored a banger but didn’t celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost faith from some fans. I told him people will always moan but lots of people like you and enjoy what you do.

“I told him to celebrate, it was something special. He is a special player, we have difference makers. They are the ones who win us games. We want them to score every game but that isn’t going to happen.”

    the non-celebration: i get it.

saying dumb shit like he must to score more, is selfish, must be a better passer online and in person when he's carried the attacking burden of the team for quite a while now would be annoying. luckily he tuned it out and delivered all the same.

worse, if i had to watch my minutes evaporate because they're wasted on a lazy ass like Rashford i might be annoyed too
