It would bloat the roster to have one more coach but as someone who has been an assistant coach in club rugby while we went through 3 different head coaches, I will say keeping a person that knows the team and squad through a transition is valuable.
I think it will be beneficial to Ruud career as a manager to see how Amorim does things. Agree with @Deadtigers above that it will also be useful to Amorim to have Ruud around for a bit to shorten his learning curve on a few things relating to the club and the players to help speed the transition. Ultimately though I think this only has limited value to both over time, so would make most sense to me for Ruud to stick around until the end of the season and then most likely to find his own path in management somewhere else. Think that will suit both best.
Ruud last match in charge, think he will have a great win% if he wins. A little meaningless in some regards but would be nice for him to beat Giggs and Carrick Locked in for Leicester 🔒🦊#MUFC || #MUNLEI— Manchester United (@ManUtd) November 10, 2024
Curious why all four of the service members weren't saluting during the trumpeting? Bit if a rough day for the trumpeter - fracked some notes and sounded a bit flat.
Dalot in a real dodgy patch of form defensively last few games, doesn't track Ndidi but does play him a mile onside by dropping so deep behind the CBs. Fortunately Onana out quickly and Ndidi fluffs it. Dalot must do better there though.
Cannot understand why EtH wouldn't play Ugarte. Guy is exactly what we need protecting the back line.
despite Rashford being a nothing burger yet again, Dalot struggling with Fatawu and Højlund not getting the better of David Luiz, we've been fairly comfortable. a third to close it out would do nicely
Garnacho fluctuates between terrible and great. That was great - 3-0 Bruno bags an assist. Think that means the goal difference is back to 0
Really great placement, we finally fix our goal difference. Can't see how Rashford can be a starter anymore. Amad and Garnacho just have so much more that they contribute
