This is what? The 4th or 5th consecutive game where he's made Karius tier mistakes? Bench his ass and play Romero for the rest of the season. FFS, this isn't that hard of a decision.

I mean, what else do you expect when he's made gaffes in 3 consecutive games minimum coming into this one? He's the best goalkeeper in the world but he's human all the same and not immune to poor patches of form (especially if the contract situation does have an influence and is a distraction).
As previously stated, SAF yanked Schmeiks out (and even sent him on vacation) when he was making mistakes. Ole's loyalty is admirable but there definitely was a case for Romero getting the start today: he rarely let the team down when called upon.

And here we are: HT and it's 1-1, when we were playing so well also. Let's hope we can still find the winner in the second half and more importantly, that Dave just shakes this off.

What?

Rashford's movement has been incredible. His runs are the reason we have space in midfield. He's singlehandedly dragging Chelsea's backline all over the pitch.

 

Dave has zero confidence he needs to get his mojo back

 

At least somebody else will get player of the season for a change.

Must be said, Herrera has been great but should have tracked Alonso rather than letting him go.
