Sarri reports Toni Rudiger at the moment is okay for Sunday's game. They are trying to recover N'Golo Kante in time but that is not certain. The boss believes Callum Hudson-Odoi will recover well from his surgery. He estimates he will be out for three months for sure. #MUNCHE— Chelsea FC (@ChelseaFC) April 26, 2019

The obvious question here is how will we be dealing with Hazard. AY for most of the match vs City was not as bad as he'd been recently. That being said, I still don't trust him to start again in this game. Although more part of a 3 at the back, Darmian did pretty well overall, showing little rust. We also have some questions in our midfield (Herrera and McTominay's availability), which could influence how we choose to lineup. But the lineup would be: ---------------------Dave Darmian Smalling Lindelöf Shaw ----------------Fred----Herrera --------------------Pogba --------Dalot----Rashford---Martial
Spurs lost and Arsenal away. Must win game tomorrow. Smalling is becoming one of my most hated players. De Gea Dalot Bailly Lindelof Shaw Fred Herrera Pogba Sanchez Rash Martial
Dalot matched up directly vs Hazard: I don't think so. Our last 2 games vs Huddersfield and Cardiff are games where we can take that gamble but most definitely not tomorrow, against an elite level forward.
in some weird way us having the toughest run in had been largely negated by everyone else bungling it. that said, if we continue to bungle it ourselves out won't matter and it will be that much more agonising. so for all Young's defending of the dressing room if we see the same tepid, dreary dogshit what's the point? how about actually showing us that you care?
The provisional squad for tomorrow: David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Matteo Darmian, Diogo Dalot, AY, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, AP, Fred, Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku Herrera and McTominay have made it, which is a very welcome sight (hopefully they're fit enough to make it to the game). It's been a while since Ole has had a near full compliment of players to choose from. 6 won't make the final cut for the 18: I know who I'd leave out, curious to see which direction Ole goes into.
3. Spurs 70 (36 games played) Bournemouth (A), Everton (H) 4: Chelsea 67 (35 games played) Man Utd (A), Watford (H), Leicester (A) 5: Arsenal 66 (35 games played) Leicester (A), Brighton (H), Burnley (A) 6: Man Utd 64 (35 games played) Chelsea (H), Huddersfield (A), Cardiff (H) When you look at the remaining slate of games, this game tomorrow feels like it's almost for all the marbles for both teams in their pursuit of a CL spot. Either team that can somehow get the win, especially us, could be looking very good when you consider who we are facing afterwards: Huddersfield are done already and Cardiff very well could be by the time we face them. Either way, quality wise, they're not as tough as some of the teams competing with us have to face. Haven't shown form at all recently, but if there ever was a time for the players to summon their talent and will themselves and their teammates to a win, it has to be tomorrow. Chelsea are dangerous going forward, especially with Hazard being the most dangerous threat clearly but I like our chances against their defense also. We need to go at them relentlessly and they'll be breached eventually. If we do end up losing, we might still be the race technically, but we'd probably be close to being done for.
OGS in prog: “If we’re going to finish in top 4 we have to win today, simple as that. (On Wed) players gave everything. That is what has to happen every single day @ManUtd. We know there is a gap to close between where we are right now and where we want to be.”— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) April 28, 2019 No excuses allowed: this is it, for all intents and purposes.
Not sure I trust the rumours today as less sources, but supposedly; Lukaku, Rashford, Mata, Pogba, Herrera, Matic, Shaw, Lindelof, Smalling, Young, DDG
If that line up is true, then that's three or four matches in a row where our eleven has been released well in advance of when it should be. There's a gutless weasel in our dressing room.
The leaked team submitted above might not necessarily be from the same source from the ones we've gotten for the past 2-3 weeks. MEN still haven't reported anything on the matter and according to Luckhurst, he hasn't got any news of an early leaked team. That lineup makes sense in some ways, but not necessarily a fan of it either with some of the selections made.
