Would be crazy to think calls like that would get missed without VAR. Would love to hear the ref's explanation for how he didn't give it straight away
I'd take off Rashford and bring Lingard on for starters: Arsenal are going to increase the pressure and we'd still have a vertical threat with Jesse on the pitch. Donny for Bruno would probably be next or at the same time.
Jesse will be an interesting one under Rangnick. Part of me thinks it's a good fit. But I don't know who he would displace in the front 4.
Explain to me why Martial is walking around and not pressing? He's been on the pitch for 5 minutes and he's already too lazy to put in a shift? Gtfo here.
A big and much needed win in the end. Need to keep this going now, with our coming schedule must softer than it's been. Feels nice to finally beat Arse in the league at OT, after such a drought. Onwards and upwards now. Guess there's only one MotM: the guy still LOVES to score vs Arsenal...

Think he deserves a mention. Would still be weary lining him up top attackers, but there are games when he surely would bring more than AWB and would like to see more of him, at least until we can bring in someone else. Good game today. First 15 minutes we weren’t up to speed but we took control well from then, pressed them much better and cut off passing angles effectively. Some really good performances today. Fred was excellent again, Sancho too, Bruno and Ronaldo did well, McTominay was good defensively, Dalot was impressive and Telles was levels above what he usually manages. Only really Rashford who I thought was poor - he needs Rangnick to program him, desperately. Arsenal are sub-Villarreal, btw. This is what they look like when they’re well coached ffs. Not worried about them pushing us for 4th.
Apparently announced after the game that Carrick is leaving the club! https://www.manutd.com/en/news/deta...rick-leaves-manchester-united-2-december-2021 Posted in the former players thread - as probably best discussed there. Suggestions was his own decision, but who knows.
Also, will say it: he may be a black hole of charisma but well done to Carrick in his short stint. 2 wins and a draw against teams like Villareal, Chelsea and Arse is a job well done. Whether it's related to him or not, the team has shown fight, grit and has shown some improvement in defense (first 2gms particularly). Nice way to pass the baton to Rangnick. Thank you! A player.A coach.A manager. But above all else, a genuine Manchester United legend.Thank you, Michael ❤️#MUFC— Manchester United (@ManUtd) December 2, 2021
If it wasn't clear before, no doubt now that Partey has been fully "Goonerfied". Dude looks like a shadow of the player most of us were gagging for...

Far from our best today but it sure felt nice to beat that lot. Thought it was the right time to play us, that they were going to take care of business. What are you saying now? Still down in 7th, but just 3pts off WH at 4th:big month ahead and we've got to make it count. With Carrick gone now, it really feels like a new day is dawning on the club.
