    HT and we’re 1 up
Everyone is putting in a good shift. Very disciplined and for once a good tactical game by ETH. We could still lose 1-5 but good job so far.

Fuxking Phil Foden. Of course Rashford would go down like a sack of shit for a foul that leads to the tying goal.

you know if Rashford actually tracked back instead of focusing on rolling around maybe, just maybe, that goal doesn't happen...

    Its a foul.

This isnt the NFL. You cant pull a player back. Who beat you in a foot race.

He didn't pull him back, he pushed him a little. It was a weak challenge against a weak-willed player. If he'd held the ball up instead of flopping for a call, they probably wouldn't have scored.

don't like the Antony sub at all.

we need a release valve and Antony simply isn't that. he'll turn it over time and again

Not like we have possession for him to lose it

Both Cas & Varane neither getting tight or tracking the runs or blocking the passing lanes - so Foden scores from a simple one-two.

Rash got fouled but just like the nonsense pen they gave to Rodri in the first game, the champions get all the calls and we are not the champions.

Ugh - Cas flips a crap high pass to Amra who miscontrolled and they score from the turnover.

Amrabaat could have gotten rid of the ball, but why would Casemiro chip the ball to him under their press?

Also Casemiro lunged and lost out to Phil Foden, when he should just stay disciplined and track his runner.

it was a poor choice of pass from Onana in the first place.

but what does it matter? the game was already done at that point.

-2 vs. -1 GD. both crap outcomes

Had little hopes from this game with the injuries and this defence.

So am fairly ok with the performance given the result was a forgone conclusion.

They held out longer than I expected. If we had our away one of those other breaks after the first goal, we would have had them.

I stand by point to fire the whole physio staff. I have not seen an injury crisis like this since the last Dutch manager.

Remember in the first match at home how Hojlund didnt get a call cause he fought through the tackle after Rodri got shot by a sniper at a free kick. It is pretty clear we won't get the calls. We flop and we should have stood up, we don't flop and we'll he didn't go down.
