Both start--win by Nurnberg all but clinches the 2. Bundesliga title.

    Work interrupted--it's 3-3 now.

Vittek tied it at 2, Dzaka put Osnabruck back up, and tied it again a minute later.

    FT, 4-3 away win.

No idea if Sanneh stayed in for the full 90 or not.

Sanneh and Enochs both went 90. Nuremberg has now officially clinched promotion, and for Bielefeld to catch Nuremberg for the 2.BL title, it must win its three remaining games, hope Nuremberg loses its last two, and make up a 13-goal difference. It will be interesting to see if Sanneh continues to play. If he doesn't fit in Nuremberg's future plans, they really have no incentive to play him the last two games of the season, and vice versa.

Will be very interesting. Was Toni that much better than the guys FCN had? If it was close why put him in at all after all of his time missing, and with his contract up? Why risk it? It wasn't as if FCN was struggling without him.
Makes me think he is in their plans...just not at the price Toni wants. Who is going to risk a lot of money on a guy his age, coming off of a long lay off. I think Toni should stay where he is if he can, or he will wind up in Div One in England at best.

Unless Nuremberg is trying to showcase him.

The really wierd thing is since Tony's been back it's been a goal fest for N'berg. Whether it's just they smelled blood or Tony has been some sort of catalyst, the results since his returned in the 55th minute v. Trier, it looks like this: (it was 2-1 v. Trier when he subbed in.)

    12.04.04 20:15 Nürnberg - Trier 3:1 (2:1)
    18.04.04 15:00 Union Berlin - Nürnberg 3:5 (1:3)
    26.04.04 20:15 Nürnberg - Aachen 3:0 (0:0)
    03.05.04 20:15 Bielefeld - Nürnberg 1:3 (1:2)
    07.05.04 19:00 Osnabrück - Nürnberg 3:4 (2:1)

17 goals in 5 games. That's crazy. The goals against aren't so good - 9 in 5 - especially seeing as he's a CD and all, but Nurnberg only had more 6 other three goal games all year, and certainly no 4 or 5 goal games.

I figure whether he's in N'berg's plans or they are hoping to ship him out, Sanneh's going to play out the season. Why sit him now, unless you are sure you're resigning him and want him to get some more rehab. But that's not very likely, either he's good to go, or he's too fragile and you ship him out.

Of course, 18 goals in 5 games is even crazier, and is the correct total, if my higher math skills don't fail me twice in one day.

And who hid the edit button? Got to stop drinking the draino - this early.

Coach Wolf likes Sanneh, supported him during the injury and would love to keep him. It's true that Augenthaler wanted to get rid off him last season (and the club to make some money), but as always things change when a new Coach enters the stage. There is no need for Nuremberg to showcase Sanneh as they would not get a single cent for him if he left the club. The only open question is if Sanneh accepts the offer and plays for a reduced salary.

And when talking about contracts: Enochs is one of I think just three players, who are offered a new contract at Osnabrück. They are relegated since last week, but probably Enochs will stay and the contract extension will work without any noise.

I've been trying to stay uninterested in ts, but I can't. love the way he plays. So, how much money will n'burg have available to build a squad that can survive next year?
