Good news for those of us whose Spanish is limited to Vamos United Well done by United's front office and 1150.
Great news. Not having an english language radio voice has always made DC seem small time. One more step toward real "major league" status.
Hallelujah and Amen. I wonder if I can tune it in here in Baltimore... Not in my office apparently (too much steel).
I believe it was on News Channel 8. Johnson and Harkes usually with sometimes another player sitting in for Johnny.
i happen to love the english webcasts that have been provided by the various teams and i will *love* this
Don't forget that you can also listen with live streaming via DCUnited.com So you'll get in anywhere YAHOO!!!!!
And every caller either asked one of two questions: Why doesn't MLS get rid of the shootout? or Why do the referees suck?
And the third question was "when are you guys going to make this an hour long show?" I wish they would bring it back, it was great.
Fantastic News! Kudos to Zack and the DC United front office. The streaming audio is the absolute best thing ever. Also, great job on the Meet the Coaches/Players night, it was a lot of fun. Thanks. -Tron
Great News, I'm goona bring my portable radio to the games. jsut to make sure I saw what I thought I saw
Sweet! Here is what I did to thank WMET: To: bobappel@powertalk1150.com Date: 3/19/2003 3:52:31 PM Subj: Broadcasting DC United matches Mr. Appel, A quick word of thanks for your work on getting DC United games on WMET. As someone who lives too far from DC to get to every match, I will be listening intently either on my radio, if I can get it, or via streaming audio. You have gained some loyal followers. DC United fans WILL reward you and your advertisers!
THIS IS GREAT! I'm only in DC for the summer and it really is great to be able to follow the team live for the months I'm here in Cali! Even with so many big moves, this is one of the biggest moves of the offseason!
Yet another positive step by the front office. Now, if we could only get the team to perform so admirably... seriously though, thanks guys, from a long way away
