I think Omari Hutchinson has more chance than CHO.

Hutchinson has probably been more impressive this season performance-wise but WRT to this debate, he plays off the right rather than the left and has a lot of competition for a place.

His England senior prospects would probably be significantly enhanced if he could show an aptitude for affecting the game off the left at Premier League level. He looked good there in the summer for the U21s but I wouldn't be taking him to a World Cup as a left sided option until he's shown it at senior level personally.

Saying that, though, I might still take him over Barnes. :ROFLMAO:

TT prefers pace and directness over subtle trickery. personally don't tie Sancho's name to things like "work rate".

Hutchinson played on the left at the euros and was impressive

If we want a limited player with a goal threat on the right we've already got one in bowen

Not on England radar, wlthough think he went to a couple of GK camps before - but Josh Bentley [Ipswich, 1st year scholar] and brother of Dan Bentley was born in Dubai and made his debut for UAE U17s at the weekend

The respective career trajectories of Semenyo/McTominay/Olise/Lookman and Sancho/Alli/Mount are maddening from the perspective of an England fan in 2026. Ah well, it's more or less inevitable with the volume of high-quality players being produced these days.

I would only say olise is a huge loss. The rest would probably be squad players at best

Semenyo would likely be a starter on the left imo.

Apparently some bellend on the Scots forum has said Barnes has committed to Scotland and it will be announced in March. They're also after Hackney. If that's barnes' decision good luck to him

For someone who has a strong dislike for the Celtic nations, you seem to frequent there forums a lot.

Well if that’s true then more fool them for accepting someone who clearly sees them as a second choice option but that’s up to them. Even Countries like Ghana have more self respect declining players who clearly just want to jump on the World Cup bandwagon.

Yep. He's barely got any Scottish blood in him. If that's his choice good luck to him. Scotland are a bunch of desperate chancers

I can’t find anything online that would suggest he has switched. I call BS on this until I see something official.
Would be a shame to lose Hackney though. He’s still young and hasn’t had chance to play prem yet.

Even less likely to happen than the Haaland situation lol but I´ve just learnt Shaqueele van Persie was born in London (came on and scored 2 goals in the Rotterdam derby today). Apparently media outfits in Morocco are convinced his mother wants him to represent them but not sure how reliable they are. Well, I´d certainly expect him to stay with Jong Oranje for as long as possible considering his last name and if he doesn´t make it in his mid-twenties Morocco might become an option for him again.

Surprised that ‘some bellend on the Scots forum’ might not be a reliable source.

He thinks it's done. The sweaty socks can have him. They haven't got their filthy hands on Livramento Anderson or Gordon
