Yunus Musah has signed a new Valencia contract that runs until 2026. Seems he's learnt the language very quickly too, although having lived in Italy for several years I imagine it wasn't too difficult. Unfortunately Noni was injured in the EL match, but PSV is through to the ko rounds. Madueke is very happy he's being taught the scoring secrets by Ruud van Nistelrooij and to tap into the knowledge of Weltmeister Götze. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/13364372/van-nistelrooy-noni-madueke-psv-london/ "As well as working with Van Nistelrooy, PSV summer signing and 2014 World Cup-winning goalscorer Mario Gotze has also been having an impact on him. Madueke added: “Mario is a top player and top players rub off on other good players. He has been great with me since signing."
Two assists for Trippier in a 2-0 win for Atleti, as they remain top of La Liga. He’s been very good this season, having played every minute in La Liga so far.
Dennis Gyamfi has left Leicester & joined Dinamo Zagreb. Dutch & Ghana eligible as well as England. Daroviti nogometaš engleskog Leicester Cityja, 18-godišnji Dennis Gyamfi, novi je igrač Dinama. Josh Ireland played for West Ham 18s on trial today so his adventure at Anderlecht and Dortmund came to nothing so far.
This is incredibly trivial of me, but just spotted this in an Angel Gomes interview: "...he breaks into laughter when addressing the assumptions that his height, standing at 5’6”, caused him to be held back..." Probably won't stop people insisting that he's 5'3", but there you go. I never found that very plausible given photos like this one (Daniel James is 5'7").
Looks like Sessegnon is establishing himself in Hoffenheim's XI. He has a couple of assists and a goal in his last 6 games.
Lille President Gérard Lopez is in danger of being forced out by lenders Elliott Management & JP Morgan owing to LOSC's raging financial trouble, which would lead to the total breakdown of the club's project, existing structure & likely attempted title challenge. More follows.— Get French Football News (@GFFN) December 15, 2020 Possibly worrying news for Angel Gomes. Luis Campos, the man who signed him, would probably leave along with Lopez.
Rhys Healey has scored 4 goals in 4 starts for Toulouse. If he continues this kind of form, Healey might get Toulouse promoted to Ligue 1 or start attracting attention from Premier League teams.
Ok. But I'm really not interested in Scottish or Welsh players. They don't represent my country so they're as relevant as French or Spanish players. I dont want to open another can of worms
What stands out for me is that a 25 year old is being included in a video about 'British youngsters'.
Arvin Appiah scored for Almeria yesterday. Been a bit of a difficult time for him out there & that was actually his first appearance of the season, not sure if he was injured or just out of favour.
Starting to add up 😅 Your Man of the Match is Reece Oxford! 🌟🏴 pic.twitter.com/y6hAfAQQu9— FC Augsburg (@FCA_World) January 3, 2021 Reece Oxford finally showing consistency. He's still only 22.
#FCBayern have made a shock approach to sign Omar Richards from #ReadingFC on a free transfer in the summer. The 22yr-old has six months left on his contract and can discuss a pre-contract with the European champions https://t.co/5kVrtQ828k— Mike McGrath (@mcgrathmike) January 4, 2021
